Just got back from picking up milk and a few supplies needed for the 5 Day Lexington Dog Show. Dog is mostly groomed and ready for his bath tomorrow morning before we head off. Hoping to get one of the few non-reserved grooming spaces since all the reserved were spoken for several weeks ago. If not I will groom in the rig and just come in when it is time to show. Means that I won't be over at the campground but boondocking outside the show arena. Thankful for both my solar and my generator options. I just need to remember to go in with a full tank of gas then not worry.
Josef's other mother Cindy drove down yesterday and visited while we tag teamed poor Josef in the grooming department. It is tricky enough trimming his feathered area with one person to hold him in a stack while the other stands back eyes the angles and trims with the scissors quickly before he twitches.
I will be glad to be showing inside this weekend with the predicted return to warmer temperatures.
