Sunday now, where is the coffee?

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunday now, where is the coffee?

Happy Mother's Day for anyone who might get the call today and for those whose calls somehow don't get through...it happens....With mother's day so advertised it is harder for them to forget though. A birthday, well, those don't stick in their heads as fast. Who would have thought I would be in charge of making coffee? I'll do my best, just be sure to taste before you take a huge cup full. I brought the tastee creamers, so you can doctor the coffee how ever you want and those that want plain can still get theirs. I have a diet Root Beer, so to each their own. The pop cost are just too high though, so I am sucking down the Kroger brand. It's okay. The sun is shining here in SW Ohio but the weather person said it was only going to the high 60's. That would be great for yard work, but I wass really looking for getting out on the water. I may have to think this through. Hope everyone's adventures today are full of good memories......Enjoy!

GOOD (LATE) MORNING AND HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL WOMEN THAT HAVE EVER MOTHERED ANYTHING!

I couldn't believe how late it was when I opened my sleeping bag and my eyes! It got so cold in the trailer last night that I had burrowed down deep in my bed---all that (7 inches) of memory foam enveloped me, and kept me warm and cozy until way past when I usually wake up!

Thanks for the start to the day, and I just hope the weather improves for everyone so all can know how nice this east coast really can be.

I will add one beautiful place to see above Cape Cod and above Gloucester, for those who might traveling the east coast....Newburyport, MA is a quaint old town that has been recently renovated to maintain its old world look----a real fisherman's town. Many of my relatives settled there in the old days, and my mother was born there at Anna Jacques Hospital. There is a good road that crosses a small drawbrdge leading to Plum Island, where I spent all my summers working on party fishing boats and lobster boats. The southern part of the island (to the right when you get over the bridge and onto the main drag (very SMALL main drag!) is called the Parker River Wildlife Refuge, and has many miles of nothing but pure beach, many birds, deer, and I'm not sure whatall else out there these days. We used to be able to tent camp there all summer, but today there is no camping, and it closes at night. Worth seeing, however, as you will be going right past there. Salisbury Beach, just over the line in NH, has a nice campground, however...just a stone's throw from Newburyport. I am sure there must be some nice state campsites somwhere in the area, too, but I never had any need for them back in the old days!

It's only 37 degrees outside this morning, so just now when I got back here in the house, I built a nice roaring woodfire in my stove.....sure does feel GOOD!

Today I will go to a cookout with Mandy and her boyfriend at his mother's house about 4 miles from here. I will wear my snow clothes, just in case!

I hope the Ididaroad travelers will find good traveling weather! Keep us in touch with what's going on! Hot coffee is waking me up, at last!

Good morning to all and a very Happy Mothers day. The sun is shinning here in south central Indiana. Beautiful blue sky with puffy white clouds. Makes the new leaves look so green. We are on our way into town - first for breakfast then to Menards (yet again) to buy paint for the decks. Had bought some stain but tried it out yesterday and it looked horrible. I wonder if this house is ever going to get done! Been working on my big stained glass window. Looking nice but forgot how intense the work can be. There's an arts festival in town this weekend, lots of tourists and nice stuff to look at.
Best to all today.

Morning all. Peaches let me sleep in 2 mornings in a row! We just finished a nice long walk, and in a bit will get ready to travel to the cg in Durango to visit with my friends for a few days. They will get home from their vacation sometimes today.

Got lots of work done (finally) on the websites that make me money - now I need to work on my personal travel one and on getting pics uploaded. Hopefully will find time later today for that - ahhhhhhhhhh, but it's the adventures that keep me going, not the chronicling of them - however, I will, eventually, get that done, too.

Enjoy all - and I hope your kids remember you today - but if they don't, it's ok - they do in their hearts everyday!

Well wow...the kids are all sleeping in this am...well the girls are as the the boys are all gone and will be home later today. DH fixed me breakfast.
The weather is NOT RAINY...it is overcast this morning with touches of blue. I hear the rain is due back tomorrow. Sundays are our quiet days.
I think I am going to work on finishing the girls bathroom. I have trim work left and it will be done. They are very happy as it has been a 15-16 month remodel process...due to funds and issues we discovered that had to be fixed.

Happy Mother's Day

Goooood Afternoon Sistahs!!!!!

Happy Mothers Day to all. It doesn't matter if you were the one who gave birth to your baby or not. Human, feline or canine they are all our babies. So you all have yourselves a great Mothers Day. My Kelly wished me a Happy Mothers Day but my poor David can not as I have no cell signal and he can't call.

Today we had off so that we could just chill and relax. It felt really good. But then again Kelly and I worked on the park model trailer we're living in. Finally finished wiping out all the cabinets, scrubbed the stove, washed dishes, unpacked some more stuff and got it all put away. Plus I washed some pots and pans that were left in the trailer, have no idea who left them there? But it's looking a little better in there. Sparkle got here Friday, she stopped by the trailer to actually meet us in person!! LOL Told her to come on into the mess! She just laughed said that everything would be up in the air for at least a month so not to worry about how the place looked. But it is getting there, looking a tiny bit better each day. It might look like a home about the time it comes to moving out at the end of the season!!!

Ok snacks and movie are all over here in the lodge. The boss lady and the other women here got together for snacks and a chick flick. Everyone is gone except me playing on the laptop and the owners. One is on the phone and the other is in the office. I am gonna head back up to the trailer. I just bet that Kelly is sound asleep!!!

Hope ya all had a great day today. Please remember to stay safe is all that you do!

Love to all

So happy to hear about your adventures, Echo and Kelly. Glad you made it there safe and sound, and that Sparkle, too, is there. How neat to not have to set up a tent again! (Unless you choose to, that is!)

Enjoy your day off, and keep us up to date with what's up in your new world!
