Almost Monday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Almost Monday

Postby Tonic » Sun Apr 08, 2018 11:36 pm

Good morning ladies, It's almost Monday. I fell asleep before nine and now I am up but hopefully not for too long. Well, update on my travels... I am only 400 miles from home in Hattiesburg Mississippi and have to go in for repairs. There is a leak under the kitchen sink and my wet floor is now very clean so there is always a bright side. Anyway I think it may have been going on unnoticed for a while because there is like a little moldy smell and that's discouraging of course. I hope I can get a quick fix and worry about a longer-term solution as I kick this can and drive down the road. I'm not quite sure what I'll do with the dog, who only likes me, while I'm at the repair facility. Anyway make it a great day for yourselves ladies and I'll let you know how my day goes later when I know more.

Good morning Toni! Actually morning now!

I've no clue what I'm doing today. Friday's weather is to be crazy and even though I could easily go to Keystone as planned Wednesday, I don't want to be there Friday. So do I pay and sit here or move midway and sit... Or 1/2 and 1/2. Time will tell. I just have to decide what to do today!

Good morning
It was definately a busy weekend, got the fifthwheel moved to storage on Saturday, then sunday
I gave away the deck and some other construction stuff. Some of the charity got stuff picked up and a few other misc items found a new home. Got the motorhome backed into her spot, did a super duper flush job on the tanks and now on to the next chore! Need to call state and fed tax offices for appt to arrange payments. Thats the one thing holding me in town right now, although i SHOULD think about dr visits before i leave, but if its not broke dont fix it. Lol i know, preventative maintenance lol .
But i actually see the light at the end of the tunnel!!
Still watching these park models getting dismantled and moved out one by one. Its quite a process when some of them have rooms added on. They move those too!
Well i'm off to get dressed and started on my chores.
Ya'll havd a good day, be safe.

Lots of movement going on today. I am headed north towards Oregon for a brief trip, but on my way I need to stop at the potential storage lot and put a deposit down. I've got a trip to the UK planned for late April so need to put this beast in storage while I am gone. Will be glad to leave my next door neighbors here at Napa EXPO. They have been problems because we are at the rear of the RV park, away from the host, and these guys like to play loud, booming music at night. When the host warns them, they wait until he leaves and start sneaking it up loud again--really irritating. They spend most of the day out wine tasting so have been coming back pretty drunk. Camp hosts had to call police yesterday morning when another rig was not moving two hours after deadline and people were waiting for their space. This is a county park at a county fairgrounds and really an extremely nice and usually quiet place, so this is all very unusual, so I am not sure what is going on. People who think rules do not apply to them, I guess.

Nice and sunny today, though will be chilly, so good day to drive.

I was on the road all day. Went to New Iberia to get my car serviced. Came back home to pick up some papers that needed to be delivered to Lafayette. My son's car needed a new battery and serviced so picked him up at the Ford place in Lafayette. Hope his car is ready in the morning because Annie has to go to the vet at 3:30.

It has been gray all day and in the 60's.

Once I get moving around, my pain gets better. Sitting and laying down makes it all come back. If I could sleep walk, I would be doing much better!

I decided to put granite looking contact paper on the cupboard doors in the kitchen. It matches the white walls and the soon-to-be-beige counters. Turned out really nice looking, not so sterile looking in there now. Put on all my new cabinet door knobs on the built-ins in the dining room. Looks better too.

Found some flowers I want to put out in front of the house but first need to clear out the planting areas first and get them ready for planting.

Finally got my W2 emailed to me today so I can get my taxes done now.

I have an appointment for the chiropractor on Thursday in San Diego. Also getting set up for physical therapy soon. Turns out the PT clinic is right on the other side of the creek from my house! There is a strip mall over there and it is in there.

I also think I bruised a rib from a coughing fit I had the other day. Very painful but doesn't feel like it is broken, just sore to touch. I am really falling apart lately! Getting old sucks! I just want to feel good again!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
