Snowy Friday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Snowy Friday

Good Morning from the snowy 45th. Just light snow though. Hopefully this week is winter’s last hurrah. It’s not unusual to have snow here this time of year, but temps are too far below normal. Looking better next week. O’Sharon, I know I don’t have to send this stuff your way, but I do like to share. Don’t want to hog it all here   Beth, hope it will be clear sailing for you after this week. When do you have to be in SD? Lyn, have a fun trip too. Alice, hope that 5er gets moved then you can be off on adventures.

Nothing new to report from here. Just puttering with this and that, waiting for snow to melt, so can get outside. Hopefully will be able to get into my TT before long and do some measuring etc., in prep for renovations. Doing some research in meantime. Also looking into cell phones. IPhone in particular cause it can be programmed to my hearing aid. Not out after the bellsand whistles models but kind of eyeing the IPhone SE. getting great reviews and more pocket size. Anybody happen to have one? Also looking at Consumer Cellular as carrier as have heard good things about them from friends and acquaitences who use them. Very senior friendly.

Time to have a few strawberries, take a shower and get my day moving. Have a nice day all.

Another painful, night so I slept in. I feel better once I get up and moving around. Took a walk around the neighborhood looking at landscaping ideas and plants. Finishing up with several loads of laundry that I was way behind on. Reorganized my bedroom closet. Finally put my new futon together for the sunroom and it looks great out there. Very comfortable. It is one of those click-clack futons so the arms can go up or down on either end, and the back is adjustable and can go all the way down to lay flat for an extra bed if needed for company. Great napping couch!

Just trying to get things done around here while I feel halfway decent. Brought Emily out to the catio for awhile. She was really scared at first but with me out there with her, she explored it a little. The shelving unit I put out there, she liked. Lola never goes on that so am glad the kitten likes it. She will get more used to being out there with time.

I see my birds are looking sadly at my empty birdfeeder so I better get out there now and take care of that for them. So many interesting birds around here. Some I have never seen or heard before.

Have a good day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Yea me, my taxes were filed and the checks are in the mail. One of the cats had to go to the vet so brought him and picked up taxes. I had things I wanted to do so had to bring the cat home and go back to town.

The wind is blowing like crazy again. Another severe storm is suppose to come through tonight. Hope it goes North of us like the last one. Then it's suppose to get down into the 40's Saturday night. There's a seafood cook off at the local state park tomorrow. I hope they don't get rained out. It's a fundraiser for the park. I doubt I will go because there will be a traffic jam getting into the park and then it would be a hike from where I would have to park.

I put up my hummingbird feeder yesterday but haven't seen one yet.
