SUNNY SUNDAY

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

SUNNY SUNDAY

GOOD MORNING ALL!

Looks as if it will be nice and Sunny today, and am hoping the winds of yesterday will calm down. It was way too windy to do any outside burning, although it was sunny and pretty after the morning rains quit. I cleaned up the old trailer yesterday and got ready to try to install new Pex plumbing in there. I bought all the piping and fixtures/connectors last year, and will try to see if I can get it ready for running water. It has a small holding tank for fresh water, as well as as a connection for shore water, and a pump, and a water heater, a kitchen sink, a shower, and an antiquated toilet. Most everything looks easy to get to, so we shall see! The amount of room in that old trailer is more than I have in my new trailer! I really love it. It's biggest problem is that it has some wood rot in its skirts, and some seam leaks, which I will try to re-caulk along the walls. The roof has been great since I put a rubber coating on it a couple of years ago. But it really should be taken apart and have the 'skirts' replaced. The floor seems sturdy enough, so far, and the steel frame appears to be in good shape. But there is something to be said for a brand new one as far as having no doubts as to its integrity. This old one would be fine for hauling short distances to local campgrounds, but I would never trust it on long hauls.

Coffee is Hazlenut Creme, and there might be some leftover goodies somewhere, which I have no desire to even look for!

I combined a couple of my spring peeper videos and pond sounds at night yesterday, and edited my thread on my first campout, for any of you who would like to see the new videos. I HAVE to learn to NOT try to focus the camera while taking videos, as it doesn't work! I was very noisy fiddling with the camera....sorry about that----next time I'll know better. The videos of the otter didn't come out at all, as it was too dark. I'll try to catch them again as the summer goes on.

Hope everyone has nice weather today so you can get outside and have fun! Let us all know what's up in your lives.
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

Good Morning Soos and all our sisters!

Things on this side of the mountain are humming right along. Will fix b'fast soon and enjoy leisurely coffee (at least two cups!) and probably watch a movie while the sun warms the air out there. Then it will be out to the camper again to finish getting it ready for the season. I'm about half done with the process of washing, sweeping, wiping down walls, etc. inside is done except for floor. walls and back roof are done outside. Will do front roof this a.m. and move things back into it. Will mop the floor last. Almost ready to roll!

Middy is crying for her breakfast so I guess I'd better take care of her or she'll punish me by bringing in a mouse..... alive! The last two she's brought me have been dead. Good cat! :D

Have a great day everyone,... I'll check that video again Soos,...

good morning ladies
getting right in on my housework this morning, dishs are soaking in the sink, laundry
is ready to start after the dishes, pulled out a few things to bag up for goodwill, and
plan to wash ceiling and walls in bedroom, as well as strip the bed and redo. There
are alot of other things I could do as well but don't want to burn up all my energy on
housework, want to save some for pleasurable outdoor stuff :P
Enjoy your day and hope everyone has good spring weather.

Mornin sistahs.

Wheat toast, butter, apple butter, cinnamon and sugar, milk and cinnamon toast crunch (well, the cheap knockoff). And, of course, coffee. Echo had it set for 6:30 yesterday and I started it at 6:11. This morning I woke up and laid there for a bit. Finally looked at my cell and it said 5:22  . *Sigh* Sat here for a bit and sure enough, at 6, she started a'brewin. I'm using my coffee cup for a bowl as I'm lazy and don't feel like moving coffeemaker and a heavy tote to get at the bowls in the tote under it.

Tent camping is just fine when the weather isn't horrible and it's for more than one day, at least I think so, lol. But I will be glad to get some walls around me that aren't canvas. That way I might actually sleep a lil later than 5 or 6 am. Maybe this is one of those luxury problems? I'm so used to a dark bedroom. I had mini blinds and sheer black curtains over my windows and of course walls. I could bury my head in my pillow, facing away from my single window and sleep till high noon, lol. Or as Echo would tell you, I could sleep all day long and not get up till midnite or 2 or 3 in the morning.

Plans for today? TBD (to be decided) later, lol. Actually, it's early and cool enough (desktop says 63 and I've got goosebumps) I could go shower and do laundry. After I eat my cereal tho, lol. And I'd have to go rob Echo... I don't know what to take so I will have to wait till she gets out of bed. I may even go back for a lil while. At least before the passel of kids next door wake up. I think there are either 4 kids and 3 adults or 5 and 2, respectively. At least they finally stopped going thru our site last nite. I was in my tent when one of them, Elektra (no kidding), walked between mine and Echo's tent. Good thing I wasn't changing as I had my door unzipped. :o They sure were noisy yesterday/last nite. *Sigh* But they quieted down about 10 which is when quiet time starts.

Hope everyone has a good start and a great ending to their day! Stay safe!

Good Morning. Already have a cup of coffee, but when it's finished I think I'll take a refill of that Hazelnut, Soos! Yesterday I traveled a hundred miles one way for a 91st birthday party for my aunt. so I didn't get a darn thing accomplished and my house certainly looks like it. It was first Saturday we had had decent weather this Spring...it was bugging me all day that I wasn't home. I got back about 6:00 and decided to start flushing the antifreeze out of the lines of the 5er...darn water was still running pink when I went to bed. We have an appointment at the dealer to get the recall on the refrigerator done on May 12 and I want to check out everything else before we get it there. We didn't buy this rig until Sept and only had a chance to take it out once so we still have a lot to learn about operating it. Today I plan to hose out the air-conditioner unit on top and clean the filters...that was a suggestion from the serviceman at the dealer when I made the appointment. He also suggested before we bring the rig up to fill the black and gray holding tanks about 1/4-1/3 full and add some Calgon or Spring Rain and let the water slosh around to clean off the sensors and loosen any gunk that is built up on the bottom of the tanks. Well..best get started on my day...the rest of you have a good one!
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

I like Ava's concept of balancing out the choices of how to spend your energy in a day is fabulous. It is so nice to get to the point to be able to say...there is tomorrow and mean it.....

Hope the wild children sleep in too! I have noticed that often the evening loud families move a lot quieter in the morning. And as all RV forum share...I have never fiqured out how parents can allow children to run amuck...as in through other's camp sites....

To chilly to kayak for me, though my daughter would say, hey the rain brought the water up, lets go! May do some dog grooming, Stuart is feeling neglected and looking like a fuzzy pup himself. May do some reading, may save some things for tomorrow. One thing with working these weeks my I'll do it tomorrow time is a little more limited. But if it isn't something to do with breathing (oxygen) or blood loss, taxes....I find that many things can wait.....

Enjoy the day.....

Goooood Morning Sistahs!

Alright, I'm up, I'm up! Woke up at 9am as my bladder was telling me enough was enough. Oh for the day when we can finally can afford an RV! No more trying to rush to the bathroom while at the same time doing the P-P dance! I'm sure I amuse the people in their RV's and give them their first good chuckle of the day!!! Bah!!!!! I'm all for helping someone find amusement to begin their day but not like that! :x I can just hear someone, some where saying, "Oh look at that dear, poor thing trying to get to the bathroom. I'm so glad we have our big RV with it's own bathroom." :x :x :x

Got to get a shower today! Didn't bother with one yesterday, neither did Kelly. She didn't do the laundry yesterday either. So after our showers she will have a little extra in the way of dirty clothes.

As of right now there is not even a hint of a breeze!?! Where it went to, I haven't a clue. It would have been nice if a little bit of it had stayed. But I know dang well if I were trying to do something and didn't want it?? It would be back and gale force.

I think I have a case of the grumps today??? :x   Hopefully a shower will improve my mood?

Hope everyone has a great day today and please be safe!

Love to all

I'm starting on my 3rd cup of coffee, I inhaled the first 2. Frosted bite sized shredded wheat is on my menu this morning. There's only 1 egg left and I didn't pick up any more.
