YAY FOR SATURDAY!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

YAY FOR SATURDAY!

Postby Nasoosie » Sat May 02, 2009 6:21 am

GOOD MORNING ALL!!

We don't need any more rain up here, and it's cold enough (33 this morning!) that ours could turn to snow before the day's out! I'm in the trailer, with the furnace on, as I realized I could see my breath when Molly woke me up trying to get under my covers to warm up! I was warm under my sleeping bag, but sure did get the shivers when my feet hit the floor! I am now brewing some blueberry cobbler flavored coffee with French Vanilla creamer.

When I get warm I'll need to let Molly run around a bit before I feed her, and then go inside and check on Twitch. My only plans for today and tomorrow are burning my cardboard accumulated from the winter, making a possible dump run---probably don't need to go yet----and doing a load of laundry. When I get inside, I'll work for a while on my videos I took at the pond last weekend. What a difference in temperature in a week----from 81 degrees down to 33 degrees!

Pull up a chair and let us know what's going on in your world! My new lounger chair, on sale from Cabella's this week, arrived yesterday, and it's REALLY comfy! I got it for 29.99, rather than the usual over 100 price. I see a patch of BLUE sky....if it gets as big as a bedquilt, it should clear up-----according to my grandmother's rule from the old days! So far, pretty small!

Hope you all have a fun day.

I'm up,... I'm here,... ooooohhhhh coffee!

Soos,... since I posted good morning in ORS it's now turned overcast,... dangit! We were having a nice morning for a while. Hope it clears off again as I have some outside work to do to get the Chalet ready to roll on Friday.

So I'll grab a mug of coffee,... gulp it down and get into action!

Have a great day everyone!

good morning from the desert as well, its a little overcast and the weatherman
said maybe a few sprinkles, but heck, what does he know, he lives in the
desert too  will enjoy the nice temps today as its suppose to be back into
the triple digits next week for summer. Its my day for grocery shopping and paying
the bills, will also get my laundry done and make sure my floor is clean and slide
the dog beds into clean pillowcases.
Enjoy your weekend

I need a good cup of coffee this morning. I think it has cleared off for a bit here in Allen but we have rain off and on the next few days. I got some good pecan rolls right out of the oven if anyone wants some.

G'mornin sistahs.

I can see an ever so tiny patch of blue sky but clouds are movin at a good pace and it's shrinkin, lol. Yesterday the weather on my my.yahoo page said the high was going to be 61, now it says 67. I thought I heard rain at about 4 am or so but nothing seems to be wet. :?

Woke up about half an hour ago. Expected the coffee to be brewin... Nope, not on this table anyways. Pushed the magic button and she's done in about 14 mins? I haven't moved since I sat down. Think I've got all the crusties out of my eyes, lol.

I've brought a huge fruit tray with me. Cantaloupe and honey dew melon slices, grapes (purple and green), watermelon and pineapple chunks, sliced oranges and apples. I've brought cinnamon and sugar which you can use on any of the fruit (especially the apples) or you can use it on the raisin bread I brought. I've had a hankering for fruit, can ya tell? Oh yeah, I did bring a couple bunches of bananas, those you'll have to slice those up yourselves, lol!

Plans for today?? Um... Stay dry, not get too chilled... So far that's it. Laundry needs to be done soon and I've been saying for the past few days that I'm going to do it but haven't yet. No rush, really. I could do it Monday nite. It's mostly my clothes and our towels and some of my bedding. Oh, and my robe! I had it stuffed in a big ol' ziploc bag with some other stuff and it needs a run through, lol.

Methinks I hear an Echo stirring... I heard a Shade puppy stirring, that I'm sure of. Yup, Echo's awake! But!! Wicked's still gettin the first cuppa! Just poured it and stirred up my sugar in there. Mmm, good stuff!

I do see some sunshine but it's pretty filtered. Won't be so hot today so I may take a nap later, lol. Hope everyone has a good start and a great ending to their day. Stay safe.

Here's hoping for that bedquilt in the sky for you up north! Here in central FL it is a cloudless sky and predicted to get into the 90's all this week. Time for me to leave!

I finally finished cutting back the Crepe Myrtles in the back yard, which completes all the trimming I plan to do until I come back. Found two more pears growing on the pear tree....that makes two pairs!

Dd, her dh and 2 grandsons came yesterday. After splashing in the pool a couple of hours they took me out to dinner for Mother's Day and my summer birthday, both of which I'll be gone for.

Heading to the mall with a friend today to spend her money....I'm saving mine....I'm not much of a shopper anyway.

Hope everyone's day turns out fine!

Gooood Morning Sistahs!!!!

I'm up, I'm up! Didn't have much choice in the matter as Shade and I both had to get out of the tent to P.

I am having a problem here. I can't quite believe that Kelly has been getting up before me for the past two mornings and beating me to the coffee pot. She NEVER does that!!! There is something seriously wrong with this morning scenario. She's the girl that use to go to bed at 4am and sleep until 4pm. Even if she were to go bed early she would sleep 12 or more hours. ??? What is up with this. It's bad enough that she is awake, up and out of bed before me? But the brat is getting the first cup of coffee out of the coffee pot!!!! Now all of a sudden I have to share my coffee. ??? I might have to make a second pot! Good grief!

But I do see she brought goodies to the coffee table so that saves me from doing so. I will still grab one of Fernie's Pecan rolls tho, yum yum. Thinking about trying to fry eggs again. But only if I get a little more energy built up. If not it will be cereal. See Liz I have cereal too. But I've got frosted bite size shredded wheat. :D

Hope everyone has a great day and please remember to stay safe ya'll.

Love to all
