Raining on Thursday...

Good morning... well the rain we have been crying for as made it to Florida it's pretty much the rainy season now ...the yard went from brown to Green cuz I didn't have the water sprinkling system turned on I was doing my part for the drought... I got some of my paperwork done yesterday I went to the bank and they help me transfer my Social Security direct deposit to my PNC bank now I have to call the University of Pittsburgh medical center where I get my pension from deal with getting that changed over... some other places I have to call tonight to get automatic payment from PNC instead of the bank and Greenville when I go there will close that account out... hopefully soon I will be down to One Bank.... it looks like it's going to rain all day today so I guess I will do some laundry... I got an appointment with Sunshine State RV in Gainesville for next Thursday.... I will be getting a new macerator hose on and they will check the refrigerator out.... if Parts need ordered for that I will have to make another appointment.... but I will do that on my way out of Florida.... I cannot stay up there and wait right now because I'm still waiting for the appraisal people to come and a closing date if I had a closing date it would be much helpful... I did go and get a post office box yesterday also I'm glad I did it now and didn't wait till after I left the house because you have to have a residence now and proof that you're living there in order to get a post office box... I'm a little excited in little apprehensive about this new chapter in my life opening before me.... well that's all for me right now...B safe....donna

Donna, I can relate to your feeling excited and apprehensive! I have a lot to do in the next 3 weeks before I hit the road! Getting nervous!

Had a nice little thunderstorm roll thru last night and today is sunny and warm. Will be pushing 100* on Saturday tho with high humidity! Glad I will be at work all day in AC!

Have today off again. Need to check on ordering a pod to ship and store my stuff. Have several companies to choose from and decide who has the best deal.

Have been looking at mobile homes in the San Diego area and have found some affordable nice places for sale. Hoping once I get out there that there are still some nice places to choose from. I want to keep it very affordable, especially the monthly fee, so I don't feel strapped and have some financial leeway to have fun.
