Tuesday, yes it's me!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Tuesday, yes it's me!

Gmorning all!

I've been gone quite a while with no good excuse  I've even struggled to keep up with reading. I just posted on "roll call," after catching up with that, so here I am. Being absent, I think of Mickie who simply tells us she'll be taking a break & not to worry. Guess I was taking a break & didn't even realize it!

So just saying "hi" & hope everyone continues to do well. Nice to hear of many traveling now or in the weeks to come, so wishing y'all safe & exciting trips. Homebodies, like me, enjoy your soon-to-be-summer! 8-)

Good morning ladies
just doing housework today, its getting down to
the wire for launch date and a few things I need
to do just to button up this place and the yard
for monsoon season that will certainly show up
any day.
Maggie and I spent a little time out in the motorhome
this morning, tidying up, rearranging and whatever else.
Turned on the Gen and ac, will go back out in a little
while.
Nice to see Carolb post. I'll call ya later Carol.
Off to grab a little breakfast, y'all have a great
day, be safe.

On my way to the Ghost Ranch and then on to Navajo Dam this morning. I had an exciting night getting rid of the scum and crud on the track of my shower door and replace some of the caulking. First I used bleach and a toothbrush to get rid of what I could. Then, brilliantly, I dumped on my CLR to get rid of the lime, only to realize too late that produced fumes. So hit the fan motor and opened all my windows until it cleared and I could rinses down the shower! :o

When it was all clean, I removed the old caulking and added new without further incident. EXCEPT, I got my printer out to print some stuff and ended up having the new magenta ink cartridge I was putting in spill all over me and the floor and part of my carpeting. Luckily, the stuff is water soluble, but everything was pretty pink for a while!

I still have more projects I need to get done, but hope they are less exciting.

Not much going on here. The therapists have started coming, one yesterday and 2 today. Mostly just questions and no work.

I posted a picture on Facebook yesterday of our tree that got hit by lightening. That was scary. It sounded like we were being bombed. Someone is coming to give us an estimate to take it down. I'm going to miss my pecan tree. I need to go measure the windows that were broken in the old house. The bark exploded off the tree and pieces went through 3 windows.

Good evening! Picked up my Jeep and camper this morning. Handles much better now! The guy there showed me how to open and close the awning but I will have to practice a little before I remember it all. The new hitch is very easy and user-friendly! Love it!

My only issue right now is finding tow mirrors for the Jeep that fit and work! I am on set #3 and still not good. The first set strapped on my mirrors hand immediately fell off. The second set stayed on for awhile but kept drooping down and then fell off (luckily I wasn't driving then). Now the third set stays on good with suction cups but when I look in those mirrors, I see the exact same view as I do with my Jeep mirrors, so that doesn't help me any. Looking into another kind that fasten on with clamps and extend out more. I had to back the camper into the driveway with no extra mirrors to help me so was just guessing a lot! Finally got it where I wanted it.

Also I need to figure out how to disconnect the backup sensors on the Jeep. It beeps loudly when it senses something close behind me (like a trailer...) and drives me crazy. My roommate was trying to give me verbal instructions when I was backing up and I couldn't hear her over the beeping. Not good!

Hope you all had a good day so far! It has been warm and sunny here today!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
