Monday Morning

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Monday Morning

Rise and shine, another week has begun. Those who are working probably wish it were ending, those on the road or making plans to hit the road, have another week ahead to wander or get resdy to wander, myself included.

Busy next couple days here, shopping, picking up the trailer, giving it a cleaning inside and then loading up, doing a few things around here and then rolling out mid week. Reservations in place, so can just enjoy the drive and know where I will be staying at day's end. Looks like great traveling weather too.

Looking forward to meeting O'Sharon in a couple weeks. Unfortunately, going to miss Kelly (ElkRiverRats) at Gettysburg unless timing allows for a quick meet up.

Guess I should get this day moving along here. Cloudy, am hoping it doesn't rain for awhile. Have a nice day everyone.

Another beautiful day in the Midwest and the rest of the week looks great. Sue have a great time on your time, look forward to hearing about it. I will be leaving on Sunday for my trip out west, looking forward to the trip. Have two parks booked, nothing at Glacier yet, but seems there is always a few spots at the National forest parks. Have a few errands this week and last minute things to do. Good thing I have lists all over, or would not remember everything!

Hope everyone has a great week and safe travels.

Good Morning! Guess it’s time for me to check in. I did remember to say Rabbits on the 1st probably because I hadn’t gone to bed yet. I’ve been a little busy. Went camping from the 23-29, came home and Tuesday afternoon I had the grandkids, Wednesday I had to run to Mitchell to get my plants, Thursday I worked at the bar and Friday my sister came for the weekend. So I didn’t get much accomplished around here except to get my pots planted before everything died in the flats. Today will have to be a catch-up day. Tomorrow I have to go in for a mammogram and blood work and Wednesday I have my annual physical. Then I bartend again on Thursday. So that’s my life right now.

Hope everyone has fun on their travels. Looks like there are lots of miles being covered.
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

Last day at Abiquiu Lake COE. Will be at Navajo Lake tomorrow for five days and then Grand Canyon. Got reservations for 9ays, and meeting my son and his family there for last three days. Only problem is that I really enjoy bike riding there, but my bike's electrical system is working funny--hesitating once in a while. I am going to give it a good cleaning when I get to Navajo Lake and hope I can fix it. Maybe it is just a loose connection?

Last two weeks of semester so I have last two sets of papers to finish. One is already half done, and plan to finish it today, but they are really boring so I can only stand doing a few at a time!

Monday evening...just got home from work. Crazy thing happened today! A guy about 60 with long black curly hair (kind of like Howard Stern) came in and my manager cut his hair. He was saying weird things and acting goofy. Then tonight, he came back in for the sunglasses he had left earlier. He had a live lobster on his head!!! No kidding! He told us the lobster wanted a job with us. We just said it wasn't qualified, so he left! Not sure if he was joking or serious! We have never seen him before and hope we don't see him again!

I get my camper and Jeep back tomorrow morning! Get to practice backing it into the driveway! :o Have the next 2 days off. Need to get my papers/bills, etc in order and hook up my new printer. I needed new ink cartridges for my big old printer and found a nice little compact printer for about the same price as the two ink cartridges I was needing, so I got that instead (comes with ink). That will save space in the camper.

Got my license plates finally, for my new Jeep. The letters on it are XJE. My mom's initials are JE (Jean Ellen) so I decided it is a kiss (X) from my mom (JE)! :D At least it will be easy for me to remember!

Good night!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
