Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunshine Saturday

Morning. Finally, after two days of wet, dreary and rather chilly weather, sun is out and temps headed toward 60 8-) so now I can go play in my new trailer. Plan to take down the curtain that closes off the bed area as don't need it and also the curtains on the windows. More light without them. Will put blinds in and maybe some light lace curtains or none at all. How many of you have curtains in your rigs? Also plan to get out the Murphy's oil soap and give it a cleaning. Bought some wood yesterday to make shelf for one cupboard. So fun times ahead next few days.

Judy, what's the name of the campground you are staying at near Ann Arbor? Liz, nuce to see you on the road again.

Time to get moving here. Want to run vac in house and make run to town for dog food. Need the temp to warm up outside as only in upper 20's right now. Have a great day!

Good morning ladies
I did up a pot roast in the crock pot yesterday, it turned out good but
when I was getting ready for bed I forgot I had to put it in the fridge
after I had removed it from the crock pot to cool. Needless to say that
chore turned out to be bigger than anticipated. First I go to make the
room in fridge only to find out my fridge quit again. I do maintain an
extra fridge on the porch for this very reason. Get every thing transferred
over from freezer and fridge, then there's no room for the roast. Ok, I go
out to the motorhome and fire that one up and get it to chilling. In the
meantime I have to clean the fridge in the house, reset it and hope its
chilled this morning. It is, so all is good. But it sure made me get to bed
late after all that extra cleaning and transferring . Today I will get it divided
up into meals and in the freezer. Will get out in the motorhome later and
turn that fridge off, save my propane .
I did get a little cleaning done yesterday in the kitchen and dining
area but of course its dirty again from cooking yesterday but just
doing the dishes will put it back in order. Will concentrate on the
living area today, get my rocks out where they belong, etc, etc.
It will be a full day of chores. Son is planning on us going up to a
place east of Payson called Diamond Point later in the week. His
girlfriend is from Payson and she has been dieing to show me her
favorite "up in the hills" place. Its a heaven place for rockhounders.
Its why they call it diamond pt, there's diamonds up there.
Not much else is going on, my friend Bill is still making his way across
Texas, one repair shop at a time. Don't know why you can't convince
some stubborn men "preventive maintenance" is called that for a reason.
About time for me to get busy. Y'all have a great day and be safe.

Sue, I am at the Bruin Lake Campground, which is part of Pinckney Recreation area. I stayed here four years ago but remember it as muddy. I think they redid this section because the asphalt looks fairly new. The higher part of the campground is woodsy, but this lower part is more open and newer. I am at the far end from the entrance in the newer part, and it has very nice asphalt sites. Some are really long and some even have small vehicle parking pads next to them. All have electric hookups. I like this part because is is newer, more open for satellite, and has a better view of the lake. Nice grass between sites and not too crowded. There is a dump station and water fill station near the entrance, also.

It is sunny here, but very cold. It got down to 37 last night and was 45 at 10:00 am, but should warm up in this sun. Lots of weekend campers wearing winter coats and hats! A few are sitting outdoors. I am indoors wearing shorts, of course, but will slip on long pants if I go outside. I have a friend coming for lunch, so that will be fun. And last night I had dinner with three old friends, which was really nice. I only get to see them once or twice a year, but it is great to catch up on stuff.

Tomorrow I head back to Ohio. I'll be back in about 10 days for a brief time and then heading west.

We look to have a very nice weekend here in Keystone, then temps are dropping next week. So I'm glad we have the weekend off... Nothing planned but maybe tomorrow I'll do the first Custer State Park ride of the season.

A week from Monday the store opens for the season. Time is flying getting ready.

Liz, great to see you back on the road. Barbie, the end is in sight!

Have a great day everyone!

I went off to Lafayette today. By the time I got to Sam's my foot hurt and I ran out of steam. I still needed to go to Walmart but that will have to wait until tomorrow. I am trying to get everything ready so I can leave Monday morning. I'll be lucky if I even get out of Louisiana. Harold has fallen twice in the last 2 weeks and came close to falling trying to get off the mower yesterday. I told him he needed to stay off the mower but do you think he listens. I should probably stay home.

We were suppose to get some rain this afternoon but it hasn't gotten here yet. The wind is blowing pretty good.
