Good morning from sunny Southern California.
Micky, I just had to chime in this morning after reading your comment. Yesterday it was in the high 70s at the beach, meaning it was pushing 80 inland. We took a 25 mile ride on our electric bikes and had an absolute blast. Rode along the boardwalk from Seal Beach to the south side of Huntington (check it on a map), and never broke a sweat. Those Pedego bikes are incredible. We can work as hard -- or not -- as we want, and go 10X farther than I ever thought possible.
Our weather is supposed to be nice for a couple of days and then cool off, with rain expected for late in the week. It's funny, but whenever we have more than a couple of days of rain everyone gets their chonies in a wad. We're quite spoiled, weather-wise.
It's hard to remember that it is winter, especially when we have days like yesterday.
And San Diego has just about perfect weather. There's probably a month or so in the summer when it gets uncomfortable, but that's because so many people don't have air condiditoning -- they don't usually need it. Humidity goes up along the coast, and people whine. But I'll take that over anything else the country has any day.
I'm in shorts today. Makes me happy.
