Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Tuesday, Jan. 3rd

Morning all, holidays are over, back to normal. Seems longer this year due to the Monday holiday thing. Have some business at insurance company and Sec. of State, so now can get that done finally. Weather going from mild to icy cold and snowy by tomorrow, so want to get the paint for my bedroom and get ready to move on in the house here.

Mickey, it is indeed great to see you back. Am glad you are feeling better. Looking forward to your new adventures. Got TT questions, don't be afraid to ask. Irma, was also glad to see your post on Sunday. Carolb, seems funny seeing you post from home, but you sound very content.

Hardee Lakes GTG in full swing. Anybody know how much is in the bail fund? looking forward to stories and pics. Have a fun time gals. Lyn, where is that Lance GTG going to be in Nebraska?

Good Morning from Hardee Lakes !! I've been up for some time, but just having my 2nd cup of coffee. Haven't seen anyone but Liz has her door open( we're neighbors). I'm sure she's very busy, me I still have few groceries and clothes to put away that I washed just before leaving my DDs. But I'm having this cup first  Really overcast, no sun showing here.

I'm enjoying being out here with my slide out and being " home". So will thoroughly enjoy this coffee and then get things in shape in here.

No news yet :D from here  Have a great day everyone !!

Morning all.

Thanks,Sue, I really appreciate the offer of help, haven't spent any time in a TT since my folks bought one back in 1973, they only had it a year and then bought their first motorhome.

Another dreary day here, it's warm but foggy and the temp is set to plummet as the day goes on. Oh well, at least I can breathe here! :D

Hope everyone at the GTG has a ball.

Gmorning Sue, CArol, Mickie (Welcome back!) & all to follow :)

Mickie, sorry your FL "dream" was not conducive to your health, but sounds like your move back to IL was just waiting in the wings for you. Alice, your day is almost here! I like the suggestion of your driving skills being used at Natl Parks! Possibilities?

Terrible storms in the south! Forum family down there, let us know you're safe! Martha, sounds like you were in for a rough night. G'grief, will those storms get to Hardee Lakes gtg? Hope it's not a repeat of last year's gtg

Beth, I've often thought of things I've written here--maybe should go back & delete some  So I've been wondering about our forum being so open? We're a close family, but lately I post with the thought of strangers reading our personal business (& why I don't post as often). I think we've lost many to fb since that's really a more private site if one's settings are set for such. Okay, so I'm not complaining, but is there any way to make some of our more "intimate" topics available for "member only"--reading & posting? Just a thought, don't know if it can even be done? Yep, I sound paranoid

Anita, glad you had some service to check in. Still hoping I'll get down to FL before you head out.

Y'all have a great day 8-)

Good Morning All, I sat and watched all two hours of the Rose Parade. I love it, and, the floats are getting more and more elaborate every year. I watch on HGTV as no commercials. I have been to the parade many times over the years. The last time I went was 2006 in the pouring down rain!!! That was probably the last time ever for me. I can't stay up all night anymore.

Mickey, so good to see you posting again!!! I've missed you. I'm also glad you can breathe again!

Sue, the Lance GTG is at Ponca St Park in eastern Nebraska. It ends on Sept 28th so I can drive over to your neck of the woods.

Getting excited about going to Q. Lyn

You gals are so danged nice, I missed that. I'm on other forums where so many people are just mean and nasty for no reason, I don't get it.

Morning! It's cold out there. Went to bed and it was 22 and work up to -3! Bronc is here today...he's a little under the weather. Last week was a big week for him and I think he's just plain wore out! The kids went to the Black Hills with Ashley's parents, sisters, spouses and their children for a week of snow mobiling and just came home yesterday. I have a feeling he'll be taking one of his three hour naps today.

Lyn! Ponca State Park is only about 90 miles from me! Remember Camp Cihak is always open.
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

Good morning gals! :D Have the day off so hanging out in bed yet with Lola.

I just joined 10 Meetup groups in SoCal! Hiking, camping, golf, meditation, social, etc. Should keep me busy out there and meeting lots of new people! Great way to meet new friends with similar interests!

Have a couple errands to run today, but otherwise not much to do. Laundry is all caught up but am behind on my reading so maybe will do that out by the pool later. Cool and cloudy today but no complaints here from this midwestern gal!

4 more weeks until I move to Paradise! Yay! Am so excited! I think my new roommate will be very easy to live with. We got along very well when we met. She seems very easy going. (Don't need any more drama queens!) Hoping the new shop will be relatively drama free as well! My old manager doesn't put up with that, so it should be good! More money/work, my own large master bedroom with my own stuff, happy Lola kitty, Walmart and Taco Bell right across the street...life will be good! Great start to 2017!

Hope you all have a good day!

Can you believe it's 80 here today. There is another cold front coming through in the next couple of days and could freeze Friday and Saturday nights. We just got the tail end of the storms and the damage was North of here. I saw pictures on Facebook of the damage at the casino RV park in Marksville. That's about 60 miles North of Lafayette. There were broken trees and at least one large trailer on it's side.

I just got back from Walmart and it was a zoo. I guess people were making up for the holiday. I went for 2 things, a hair dryer and a box for this years tax papers. I got the hair dryer but forgot the box. Didn't forget the cat food.

See....I am usually imagining Alice driving around the Tram in a tourist city like Key West or Savannah....telling us all the history and stories of the city.....and collecting the nice tips because of her friendly positive attitude....... :)

Tina, that is a great visual of Ava! She would be good at that!

Martha, good thing you remembered the cat food! If the cats ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!!

Mickey, I left Minnesota on October 1st and moved to Phoenix (with the intention of eventually going to CA). Now I am moving in February to San Marcos/Escondido, CA to go back to work with my old manager at Great Clips there. Hopefully, I can stay put there for a long time! That is really where I have always wanted to be (southern CA). If you want to live somewhere with great weather and low humidity, that is the place to go! Pretty expensive tho but worth it to me! My allergies are non-existent there!

Am leaving for Tucson tomorrow after work and staying with Beth there so I don't have to drive down so early the next morning for the Desert Museum. Will be fun to meet three more gals from here in person!
