I had the prescription for the Voltaren gel also my insurance paid at one time and they refused it after that and the price without insurance was over $800 for one tube guess what I didn't get any more but it does help it doesn't cure it I went to physical therapy for 4 months find me both of us decided the therapy people and me and I wasn't getting any better so I went home and when I did was rested that meant not walking very much and wearing Orthotics I can't even go to the bathroom without putting my shoes with Orthotics on at night but I haven't had a problem since knock on wood

OMG - and I just paid $10 for 6 tubes! I bought one tube two weeks ago - for, I think, $1.80. Was fine with that price, but got a lower price for multiples

I'm glad you're doing good now - my foot is feeling better just for throwing out my old shoes ... And they told me the pain is worst when first standing up from resting my foot/sleeping. This past summer the pain was worst when sitting at the computer at the store. Standing and walking - I don't have the pain, or very minimal pain. When home I'm keeping my leg up all the time - and I do ice it occasionally. They told me no heat - although they then said, if the ice and the gel don't help much, go ahead and try ice. Sometimes I think they have no real clue.
