Wake up! It's Saturday!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Wake up! It's Saturday!

Had to check, but it is indeed Saturday. This is my last day at Long Key State Park--headed for a couple of days to Pennecamp tomorrow. Have been there before, but dread the campsites. They are known for the big rocks some brilliant rangers put on either side of each campsite. Two years ago, watched some guy with a big 5th wheeler take 40 minutes to back in with the help of a small crowd! At least he made it.

More work today, but really been catching up on my sleep also.

Good morning from damp northern California ! Loving the rain we are having. Our average annual rainfall is around 18 inches. We got a tenth of that yesterday!

Almost noon here and I am still in my jammies! Have the day off with no plans. Gonna be another hot day so will probably just stay home and do laundry, finish my Route 66 blog, and clean my room and bathroom.

My salon manager got demoted to assistant, so we will be getting a new manager in next week. Will see how that goes...

Hope you all have a great day! :D

After all the whining I did all year about it raining every day I am expecting a burn ban any day now. It is still pretty warm here, 85 now. It cools off to the 60's at night.

I have already been to town and back. Might be a record trip for me. Harold wanted a cane because his hip is bothering him and the drug store closes early on Saturday so that got me moving early. I didn't think about trying one of the chain drug stores but Thrifty Way had one.

I picked up some BBQ ribs at the grocery store that has a deli counter. Not the best BBQ but I didn't feel like cooking.
