Good Morning Donna and Everyone !! Donna, I am so sorry about all of this. Those drs should talk to you, you are his daughter and care giver, I would demand to know at least what they know whether they think just talking to your Dad is enough or not. Or maybe it is too soon to know anything, but if you have questions ask and get an answer. Thinking about you !!!

Monday morning and predicted to be hot again, I need to make a run to the store but thinking I will wait until tomorrow. Need to go early because of heat and think I have missed it already :) Still cleaning and wiping dust from everything, kind of took a break Sat. afternoon and most of Sunday. So happy I had it in good shape when I got back, last thing I did before leaving was vacuum and so it looks really nice and neat, so nice to come back to. Haven't been sleeping well, and just tired. Besides enjoyed the Hallmark channel, have not seen much tv all summer. My DD doesn't have it on in her house, except maybe a couple of hrs in evening, which is good as kids have many things and ways to occupy themselves. I may be heading back south before I'm ready as she has a health issue that isn't sounding good, to see another dr soon and then will know more. Have decided to pack the things I really want and may take some with me. All kinds of things going on in my head, so main reason, I can sleep maybe 5 hrs then I wake and that's it, as the ole mind kicks back in and won't shut up

Won't set here long, just wanted to wish everyone a good week. We had a good rain yesterday afternoon, but no more predicted until next Thurs and we're short here in this area, news report says. I have a few things to do outside, but haven't ventured out yet, but I will soon :D :o

Take care everyone, stay safe, while having fun ,
CArol

Donna, sorry it's still a waiting game with your dad.

We are still watching the storm that has made it to the gulf. Right now they think it will turn back to Florida on Wednesday. It wouldn't take much of a change in the prediction for Harold to load the horse up and haul her out. If he does I guess I will take the motorhome. That would get one vehicle out of here. I don't like to look out and not see my motorhome. The rain gauge had an inch of rain yesterday and it's raining again this morning.

I didn't go to sleep until after 2:00 and I was up at 6:00. I would like to go back to bed but guess I won't. I have a cake recipe floating around here somewhere that I would like to try if I can find it.

So sorry, Donna. Hope the doctors can tell you more today.

Those of you interested in next year eclipse might find this interesting: https://www.facebook.com/NASASunScience/photos/a.118111491569416.9250.118107518236480/1059894407391115/?type=3&theater

Heading out for allergy shots shortly. Must be something going around on the lack of sleep thing.. These days I count 4 hours as good.

I made a reservation last week in Idaho to be directly under the path of the eclipse. Since I understand the next over the US will be in 2045, I felt I better see this one. My dad was a 33+ year employee of NASA and would have loved to see this one. I'm going to see it for him too.

So sorry Donna to hear about your dad. It is hard waiting for information but with strokes, it is kind of a "wait and see" situation since it can affect so many things. It also depends on how quickly he got to the hospital after the stroke. And sometimes the effects are temporary and sometimes permanent. Only time can tell with those things. Very hard waiting tho. :(

Very hot and humid again today but after storms roll thru tonight, both temp and humidity will drop. Am planning to go to the fair on Wednesday with highs in the 70's, so perfect!

Slept much better last night. Lot less to worry about now.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
