Good Morning Everyone !!! My trips over, it was a good one, new route, not sure I will take it again, but loved seeing a new area. That's the great thing about traveling, for me. I hoped for cooler weather but doesn't sound like it will be to much better, high 80's, which is better then high 90's to me. I have several things I must do early this morning, but still to dark out. I woke at 4 and got up, couldn't lay there, went to bed early,(for me) and had my 6 hrs.

No news really here, just wanted to let you all know that I am off the road. Many things to do this morning, bring more things in from RV, just items I need. Few clothes and items in freezer.

Not sure what the next days will bring. One thing I have to do is recover my one cushion to dinette. Hoping I remember how Also my front porch has been taken over by weeds, climbing the trellis. That a first thing to do this morning. Kids mowed, yard doesn't look all that bad, which I really appreciate. I need to contact my guy, still owe him money so shouldn't be to hard to reach him this time, and see what he will do and price for things that must be done.

Well daylight is breaking out there and I need to get moving. Take care all, and have a great day !!!

Good morning CArol & all... glad to see you made it home okay will be good to see you again in Florida though this winter I put a post on get GTGThread about Hardee Lakes anybody interested give a shout out over there... I'm waiting for 9:30 to roll around take the RT over and have the ding estimated and make a date for him to repair it.. I am glad the dealer is paying for it and not me but it's not much but I bet it will be a couple thousand anyway after that I will be coming back and start organizing and packing for my trip with Margie to Anastasia State Park I'm leaving Sunday morning coming back Thursday that's the plan so far anyway... it looks like we will be safe from any tropical storms... have a good one & B safe...donna

Good Morning CArol, Donna and all,

Taking a short break here while waiting for a load of dirt to arrive. Have a number of spots needing fill, plus flowerbeds. I too woke up early and finally got up bit after 6, thanks to darn smelly skunk outside. This is the time of year they start lookung for winter quarters. Sorry, no vacancy here. Deck is enclosed with chicken wire behind the lattice and will soon have a covering of screening to keep the wasps etc., from taking up residence next year under there.

So I was out already this morning, washing off the landing on side of door to get ready to paint it. Won't ake long for that. Cut two posts off he deck I no longer need as removed those rails, then did a little blowing with leaf blower and also little trimming around fence. Clouding up a little, so need to check forecast. Supposed to have shores tomorrow, but could be day earlier. If so, no painting.

Glad you arrived home safely CArol and that things looked pretty good. It's cool up here, only into mid 70's today. Donna , have fun on your trip. Okay, better post this before truck comes. Have a nice day everyone

Granddaughter, age 6, is coming to spend the night tonight, so I went out as soon as I got up and dumped the tanks at the dump station. If it were just me, I would have managed another couple of days until I leave Sunday morning, but this little girl LOVES to turn the water on full blast to brush her teeth, and she is a really good brusher, so it takes a loooonnggg time! Need empty tanks.

After I get some work done and read my news online will head over in rental car to son's house to drop off some boxes, have dinner, and pick up water-using kid! Then Sunday morning heading over to storage to do some more packing and then off to Michigan for a few days. Am looking forward to getting food items there I cannot get elsewhere, like fresh garlicy Kielbasa. It makes bratwurst taste really bland and I love it. Also might stop and get middle-eastern takeout or some really good Thai food. Detroit has some excellent ethnic food, especially middle-eastern, if you ever go there.

Good Morning from Delano, CA - Last day on my own. Looks like I'll have the opportunity to meet Velda (MandysMom) today! I slept in and not in a rush. Quite cool outside right now.

Yesterday was a scorcher!! Started at 90 degrees and climbed as high as 104. Unfortunately, GPS took me on surface streets during the last bit of the ride so I had to sit at stoplights! By the time I got here, I was really done in from the heat. Figured out why GPS does that - tell it shortest route and if it will save you a mile, it goes off the main route even if it takes 15 minutes longer! Fixed that.

CArol, so glad you are home and had a good trip.

Been to Curves, showered, pilled kid, fed cat started load of laundry, fed bird and Mel finally rolled of bed, it's good to see him get extra rest. And it let me get done with my morning stuff without tripping over anyone but the cat, who managed to stay out of my way. Waiting to head to restaurant to meet Anita! Excited to meet her!
No big plans for weekend and shush don't say it out loud- there is Nothing on calendar for next week! Happy travels to all on road and have a good weekend all.
