A hot muggy Thursday in Paradise...

Good morning everyone... this hot and muggy here but we do have some beautiful sunrises and sunsets... I have been off the grid for a while taking it easy from the internet... a lot of stuff I need to get done it's just too hot... one thing I would like to do and I have looked last few weeks is get a different RV... I looked at a Roadtrek and I think that's what I want I spend a week mulling it over & a few hours checking it out me and Pheebe lying in the bed standing in the shower sitting on the throne checking out the kitchen sitting in the driver's seat for a few... that is important to me because of my spinal problems... but in the end I decided this one was not for me even though the dealer did make me a good deal... He also did another thing for me ....when i took it over there and he said he thought the leak problem over the cab was caused by the running lights across the top he quoted me a price when to caulk them ... but in the end when it was all said and done I went over to get it and he didn't charge me for it and thought that was pretty nice I think he knows that if he find something and can give me a good deal I'll buy from him which I will because I think he's a good guy and I trust him.... well I need to figure out which mess I want to tackle first I will probably work on my inside bedroom in the house it is stuffed full of my stuff I need to find room for it all maybe put it in some totes and make room for it in the shed who knows... anyway have a good day & B safe...donna

Good morning to All - Very hot here in Boise, ID. And some humidity. Even rained some last night.
We are staying at a friends house. Beautiful here. Chickens, goats, sheep, pond with waterfall, lots of trees [to many to get satellite TV] And lots of flowers. There is smoke in the air today as a fire started overnight in the foothills near Boise. Temperatures have been 100+ since Monday. Today it will start cooling down to 97!
We are waiting for insurance adjuster to come look at the awning and give the okay to get it fixed. We have an appointment for middle of next week to get it fixed.
The original damage from being hit in Vegas at start of trip got worse as we traveled. So now can't travel until it is fixed.
Have decided to name the coach Jinx. All the years we had the Alfa never had to deal with the insurance.

Donna, if you get a chance, look at a Coach House motorhome. Either the older van type or a higher top Platinum. You should be able to find one since they are made in Florida. The model I have is a 2002 Platinum 232. I don't know about the vans but the Platinums have leather seats that are more comfortable than any chair I have in my house. The driver's seat is electric. The passenger seat can be turned around. They have a little larger bathroom with a separate shower. The shower is a little small but I use mine all the time. Mine has 2 electric sofas that make beds. Other models have a sofa and a small dinette. I don't have a slide but some do.

It's another hot day. Last night we had a storm come through about dark. I forgot to check the rain gauge but it was raining hard for a while. There is a big area of rain in the gulf but I don't know which way it's going. I'm thinking about going to town but not moving very fast.
