It's Monday!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

It's Monday!

Good Monday morning all! Figured Sue and Carolb must busy either building fences or watching flowers grow this morning! CArol, can relate to trying to find someone to do little jobs around your place. I call and then they never call back, frustrating to say the least. I can do some stuff but some projects are beyond my level of knowledge. Anita, glad the wedding was good for you. Weddings are always a happy time to catch up with family!

Spent yesterday helping son with the drywall project. I'm sore all over! Just got a text from him that he stayed home again today, hint, hint! I have some things to do today so don't know if I'll make it over or not. He'll be working alone so I probably should go. Maybe later! So with that, I suppose I should get going here and start my projects. Hope you all have a good day and travel safe!

Cooler this morning, hurrah! Spending some time in the garden. After that, we'll see -- I need a haircut and groceries, but that will have to wait for Wednesday (Social Security day).

Summer Circle theatre starts this week on campus! On Thursdays, a dance performance before the play. I guess I know where I'll be every Thursday this month, eh?

Good morning :D
Spent the weekend ripping out the old fence and digging post holes for new fence
in different location. Bill rented an excavator for the weekend, which I learned to
operate. It was really scary, but so much fun!! However Bill thinks he hit a sewer
line, dry from the empty rental on the other end of the property. He will get that figured out and repair. Blue stakes only locates gas, water and electric, so this was unfortunate if it is indeed a sewer line.
Also took a little time to 4wheel some trails nearby just to break away from the monotony of all this work. The brick workers are coming today to start the job of
replacing the skirting with cinder block.
Enough from me, too much to do. Y'all have a great day, be safe.

It's COLD here!..Would you believe it?

WOW Ava...you are getting as busy as Sue! Are you retired now or just on vacation?

Our Social committee had our spring party yesterday in the cold o'cast. It was a nice little hot dog/hamburger type meal. Val and I went, but it is more fun for me to meet the neighbors out on the street with their dogs. No dogs allowed at the party so I didn't recognize everyone!

Reading and walking the dogs today for me. lyn

Slept in until 11:00 am this morning. Only woke up once at 4:00 am, which is very unusual for me. Must have needed the sleep, but I feel good this morning, so will bash on to work on end-of-semester papers. Cool today and cloudy so I don't know if we will have rain, but the recent rain made the air feel clean and fresh, and since all the noisy weekenders left yesterday, it is much more peaceful here.

Only a few days left in Utah, and then will head west (fast) through Nevada to Lake Tahoe for three days and finally get to Napa for two weeks to visit with my son and family. We are headed north after the 4th to Oregon and Washington for some co-camping. My daughter-in-laws mother will stay for me for a week and then fly back home from Portland because she does not want to stay the whole two weeks. Anyway, I am looking forward to it and glad my son got his trailer three years ago so we can go camping together. It makes it much more comfortable to have two rigs.

And then I will head east from Oregon toward Michigan and Ohio for grandkids birthdays!
