Gmorning Donna & all to follow :)

Donna, thanks for sharing about Soos--will keep her in my prayers. Lyn, have been thinking of you & hoping all went well with your knee surgery:)

I'm making my way to MO, found a beautiful COE campground at Marion Co. Reservoir in Kansas where I've spent the night. Just watched an amazing sunrise:) Hard to believe my winter trip is coming to an end...

Going to do some house cleaning in HB this morning, so best get busy. Y'all have a great day 8-)

Thank you for that news Donna. Soos and I chat pretty regularly on FB and she hasn't been on much these past few days other than a quick pop in and out one day. Kind of thought something was wrong and yes I an sure she is more than nervous as I know how she hates any type of medical procedure. Will send up prayers for courage and a swift recovery for her.

Heading for town this morning as more snow coming in later. So O'Sharon, you will probably get it too. Looks like temperatures will be below normal for most of April for those of us in the Great Lakes region all the way to Northeast.

Realtor is coming by to bring paperwork to sign as we are going to make a contingency offer on the other house I would like to buy. Will have inspection clause in it, and after inspection, I will have right to back out if I don't like what, if anything, is found. Owner doesn't know current condition of well, pump, septic or furnace as of now or current age. Those are my main concerns. Offer is contingent upon sale and closing of this property. Will know in a couple of days if owner accepts. If not, will go with the flow.

Time to move along here. Hope you all have a nice day. And Good Morning Carolb, you snuck in before me :)

Good morning. Sun is shining and wind is down for now. It was really blowing yesterday and last night. Thanks for the update, Sue! More to look forward to! Donna, will keep Soos in my thoughts for a speedy recovery. Was out last night for dinner with DS and family, was just windy when I left but had rain and wet snow coming home! Huge flakes hitting the windshield! But no snow on the road or sidewalk this morning! Just a bit on the grassy areas. And Sue, will keep my fingers crossed that everything works out for your sale/buy of the houses!

I'm still planning to have Lola dewinterized on Thursday but hope I'm not jumping the gun by doing it now. Plus rain in the forecast for that day. Guess we'll see what Jim wants to do. He's going to do both me and my chiropractor since we're both here in the same town. I ordered a new thermostat for the furnace and propane alarm so luckily they came so he can install them for me.

Carolb, seems you are behind these storms so hope you have good roads as you head east. Liz, another wonderful tour! You and pup find the neatest places to visit!

Not much planned for today. May do some more weeding out and get a few more things ready for donation. I actually realized the other day that I really don't miss the stuff I've gotten rid of. Hard at the time but not missed now. I've heard that over and over but guess it finally sunk in! Gotta keep reminding myself as I move on with this. So will quit rambling and get myself moving! Have a good day and travel safe!

Good morning gals!
Am getting ready for my first day back at work. I am very nervous about it tho. Now my left shoulder is really hurting too. I am worried that something else might be going on since other joints are bothering me too now. I did have a friend tape my right shoulder last night with that Kinesio Tape so hopefully that will lend some support to that one while I am working.

I went into the salon yesterday and got my hair all chopped off! :o It is nice and short now and will be much easier to take care of!

Sunny and much warmer today with a lot less wind. Supposed to get to 60* later.

Saying a prayer for Soos and for Lyn for their surgeries and for a good outcome and quick recovery!

Have a good day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Leaving the Phoenix area shortly. Did nothing but eat while here  But it was wonderful seeing everyone. Ava and Linda once, then Linda and I met at Portillo's last night. Got my Italian Beef fix. I had lunch out with friends of my family yesterday, so really pigged out.

My next couple days are planned around the winds. Looks like high winds come in most of New Mexico Tuesday afternoon. So I'm hoping to get to Albuquerque Monday and out Tuesday morning and hopefully stay put at a NWR for two nights to let the winds pass. Linda is leaving this week also. Hoping we might catch up somewhere, but we'll both be "running from the winds".

Stay safe, have fun. Time to get Peaches walked and on the road.

Good morning, everyone.

Thanks for letting us know about Soos, Donna. Will keep her & Lyn in my prayers for speedy recoveries.

Carolb, glad you found a nice KS COE to stay in & Beth, enjoying good food in Phoenix with RV sisters & friends. Barb, sorry to hear about the problems with your shoulders - I wonder if you did something to the left as you compensated for pain in the right one. Hope work goes ok - take care & let us know how it goes. O'Sharon, I've found the same thing - once something's gone, I really don't miss it - it's the initial letting go that's so tough. And Sue good luck with the contract - hopefully they'll accept your contingency offer - praying for a quick & smooth sale of your current house in the meantime.

Not much going on here - gearing up for DD's civil ceremony on April 15 - her dad & brother are both coming out for it. I only wish his mom could be here too. Decided we'll try to facetime her in so she can be a part of it. It'll be really nice in June when both his mom, dad & the rest of our family come out for the formal ceremony. Also gearing up to get my sweet baby back on the 11th. When DIL went on leave, baby was just starting to turn over, now... she's already taking her first steps! Yikes! We'll see how it goes - I will be very, very busy!

Well, better get moving. Hope for good health & safe travels for each of you.

Lots of news today! Will pray Soos that your procedure goes well and you have comfort you need.
Glad Lyn is up and moving after surgery.
Barb, sure hope you find solutions to your painful shoulders. I dealt wit a frozen shoulder for over a year , until I accidentally fell into a wall and tore loose adhesions. Hurt like heck when that happened but much improved after.
Those Traveling in wind, take care, seems like there is wind all over these past two weeks.
Have a wonderful week everyone.

Got up and walked to visitor center at 8:30 am this morning because it is supposed to get over 90 today. It is a .7 mile hike, and yes, I took more water and my cell phone! It is also really a sidewalk from the campground to the visitor center and is handicap accessible, so it is pretty safe, but just in case, I brought the cell phone! The local archeological society was having an event which included tours of the archeological center that is attached to the state park and usually off-limits to visitors, so it was interesting to see the shelves full of collected artifacts. It is a completely volunteer group--they even built the building out of straw bales and cement themselves! Very nice place and very interesting people.

I was originally planning on spending 6 days here, but I am leaving tomorrow morning because temps are supposed to go up to 99 on Wednesday, which means no hiking or even jeep tours for me! And certainly no bike riding! So I am heading up to Cottonwood to stay at Dead Horse Ranch SP for a few days.

Hope Soos does well with her procedure. I know heart problems (and really all diseases) get scarier as we get older. Every time I get a pain somewhere or an ache, I worry about what I should do. It sounds like she did the right thing by going to the hospital when she did. And hope Lyn has an easy time with her knee. It's really painful at first, but getting mine done was one of the best things I have ever done--gave me my life back.
