Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Easter Sunday

Postby Colliemom » Sun Mar 27, 2016 6:23 am

Want to wish all of you a Very Blesed and Happy Easter. Will be heading to mass in a little while, running a couple errands while in town and then meeting my neighbor and some people I know from her church for brunch up in town. Hope you all have a nice day. Don't eat too many chocolate bunnies

Hoppy Easter Bunny Day!

Off to pick up my dad for church and then to my brother's house for dinner.

Have a good one! (and chocolate Easter bunnies don't have any calories!)
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Hoppy Easter everyone! (Barbie - great minds think alike :D )

Did bday dinner with Mom yesterday, went to the dealer from Colt v1.0 and am getting $500+ back for refund on tire and extended warranty. woohoo. Extra cash for Giant city.

Mom spend the night and we are heading to a cousin's a few blocks away. Not sure how long we'll stay. Mom has a miserable cold.

Have a happy day everyone wherever you are and stay safe on the roads.

Happy Easter, all. Lots of the Easter Bunny's friends hopping around my campsite here! Saw several last night and three just a few minutes ago. I think they must like the vegetation planted between sites and the grassy hillside across from me. This is a very nice campground, by the way, and reasonably priced for California. Cement pads and full hookups for $33 and on top of a hill so terrific views.

Lynn is headed over to pick me up and give me the grand tour of San Diego! Can't wait. And Catherine might drop by late afternoon today. Will take and post photos on my blog.

Happy Easter! 15* as of 8:00 this morning….is it really spring? Our holiday plans went down the tubes! Sean had to work last night and will be sleeping most of the day because he has to work tonight too. Ryan, Ashley and Bronc were having Easter with Ashley’s family and we were going to go to the nursing home to have dinner with mom and my sister. Yesterday we had snow and freezing rain but it didn’t amount to much. This morning after I had showered and gotten ready except for getting dressed to go then my sister called. They ended up with over 8” of snow and the road and driveway are drifted (55 miles away) …..so we’re staying home. Going to be a quiet Easter and I’ll probably stay in my lounge pants and a sweatshirt and forget about my Easter bonnet! ;) Guess I’d better to start thinking about something to make for a brunch/dinner for the two of us. Ugh…thought I might get out of cooking for a day.
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

Happy Easter/Happy Spring to All. It is cold in CT this morning, but no snow! I returned home yesterday after 6 1/2 months on the road. It was a great trip and I was able to meet up with many of you. Once again I am Peggy in CT, so let me know if you get to New England this summer. Enjoy today, Peggy

A little late, but I wanted to wish every a Happy Easter.

I attended the most beautiful sunrise Easter Mass this morning. It was outside & while it was too overcast to see the sunrise, the gradual increase of light, the families with their little ones still in their jammies wrapped up in blankets, the great music (full group of musicians) & a pastor who really infused joy into the entire liturgy - made for a lovely start to the day. Even wanted to stay for the next one when I saw the Spanish choir & band moving in as we were leaving. Maybe next year...

Stopped by to see the baby's first Easter then ran down to San Diego to spend the day with Gaby. Stayed later than usual & ended up with a nearly 3 hour drive home. :( Didn't have a chance to meet up with JudyB but I hope she had a great time with Lyn (the best San Diego tour-guide ever!)

Hope everyone had a lovely day.
Take care,
Catherine
