Up Early on Friday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Up Early on Friday

Postby Colliemom » Fri Mar 04, 2016 6:26 am

Morning all,

Woke up at 5:15 this morning and decided to get up. Piper was ready, Molly slept a bit longer  Usually she's the one getting me up. Had my Adkins bar and strawberries for breakfast, load of wash is in washer, girls are outside playing. So morning is off to good start here. Actually I'm bright eyed but not too bushy tailed yet  My laundry room is next to my bedroom, so since I am walking by it, just stop and throw in a load on my way to the kitchen.

Two bedrooms and closets down in the cleaning dept. My bathroom is next. Small one off my bedroom. Also heading to town later too. Get the drift I might just have spring fever :D You gals talking about dewinterizing your rigs has me antsy, but it will be awhile before that happens here. Winter will have one last hurrah yet.

And being it's Friday, Ava will be heading off on her big adventure. We will be waiting to hear all about it. Judy, glad to hear you are feeling better, but don't overdo it. Barbie, I've seen those sweatshirts too, they are neat. I had a T-shirt made that says "Have Camper, Will Travel". Might get a sweatshirt done too. Big warmup coming next week, so snow is really gonna go. This is probably the last weekend for snowmobiling up here.

Okay, enough jabbering. Have a great weekend everybody.

Mornin' Sue and all that follow ~~~

Not much happening here, just waiting for the 60* temps due next week. Getting kind of aggravated. I need 5 dead bushes pulled, right over utilities in the yard, and I have yet to find a landscaper to pull them. There are a couple of large landscape business close by, and they are closed on the weekends! Now is when people start planning, and I'd like to get on the list to get some new landscaping done in their place, make the front of the house look nicer than the standard builder decorating from 11 years ago.

Been surfing the net at camping things and think I've found a new project for you Sue ;) because they remind me of your log snowmen. http://www.carvedwoodencampingsigns.com/~shop/a-3-post-stand-welcome-to-our-campsite/176761/ I'm tempted to give it a try, but instead use vinyl instead of wood and some type of weighted base since it would be something that would be hauled around. Yea, we'll see if I get ambitious.

Have a good day ladies and stay safe on the roads.

Just after noon here but being lazy on my day off. :D
It has been snowing all morning but nothing accumulating. Looks pretty windy out there too. Good day to hunker down! Will start warming into the 50's tomorrow.

Lots on my To Do list today but so far not much motivation. The cats are reminding me tho, that their dish is empty and I need to go out and buy more food for them. As I say, if the cat ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!

Does anyone on here use Picasa for their photos? Just wondering how user-friendly and affordable they are? I want to get all my photo CD's and DVD's uploaded somewhere besides Photobucket, which I don't find very user-friendly.

Also need to get caught up on Liz, Donna, and Carol A's blogs, so maybe will do that today.

Have a good day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Packed up this morning and found a laundromat in nearby town so getting two big loads done. Short drive to Tucson for a few days and then back to get my new blinds in 10 days. Yea!!

Still coughing and sound awful but very slowly getting better. At least sleeping good with help of cough syrup

Bet you could use PVC pipe for signs and paint them to look like wood.
