Once he gets out of the hospital, we hope he can show us how to hook up so we can drive his trailer to storage. Wife has everything packed up to go, but even after he is discharged, we will have to spend a night here to make sure he is OK to ride home.

Not much else going on other than going to the hospital to stay with him. Might go out to dinner with DIL tonight again--nice restaurant here at campground.

do you have a bedroom? can your son ride with you so that he can lay down?
just a thought

Evening here. Got to this cg Wednesday and have worked every day since. Two more then three off. Good thing I understand offices because I kind of just got thrown into it. I got a couple hours with a Workamper who's only been here a few weeks. I've been on my own since. Luckily the two owners have been super when I've called or texted. Not in the site I'll be in most of my stay. I need to find out which of the two they have open they want me in and on one of my days off will get moved. I hope.

Like last winter I'm in a cooler part of Arizona. Hoping that it can get back to the normal cooler soon.

Judy, your son and his wife have to be thrilled that you've been there when this happened. Hopefully this will be a lesson to his wife that she needs to be able to learn and do it all. I'm such a believer in that!

Congrats Pat. I'm laughing, but understand their chagrin, about the parking lot mishap. I wish I didn't start so early in the season and end so late... some day I'll make it to Camp Cihak.

I'll post again tomorrow morning, but he is off morphine and onto Norco, so is finally feeling a little better. He got out of bed late this afternoon and started walking around. So there is an excellent chance that he will be released tomorrow, but we are staying around an extra day to let him rest in his own bed in his trailer. I ran out tonight and got a bunch of things for a clear liquid diet. He can have a little solid food, but not the pizza he wants!!!

So I am making chicken noodle soup right now and will leave it to cool overnight so I can skim the fat off tomorrow morning. We will give him a few noodles and a lot of broth, but we will have more noodles ourselves.

Also, tomorrow morning after Jen showers I will dump and rinse tanks so they are empty. Probably need to dump them again on Monday morning just before we hook up and get the trailer into storage somehow. We are hoping my son can sit in a chair and tell us what to do. If we need help, there are lots of campers around here and I will not be shy about asking. We might do that tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon so it is ready to head to storage lot on Monday. It is an easy couple of miles to the storage area.

I will follow them for a while but am not going all the way with them as long as they are doing OK. I'll probably head to cheap Hensley Lake COE campground for three days. The other grandma will be taking the kids home tomorrow (Sunday), and she will stay all week. Everyone has all next week off and I would just be an extra cog. I'll be there Thursday for a Friday ophthalmologist appointment. If all is well, I will be off to Las Vegas on Saturday.

And daughter-in-law knows she definitely needs to get some practice in driving! This is just not the right time.
