Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Rain on Thru.....

Postby grammynmaggie » Thu Jan 07, 2016 7:45 am

Good morning everyone...3 rainy cloudy days in a row need some sunshine here...took Pheebe to get flea tick & heart meds but when I told them about her swallowing something they referred me to another vet..Well here's the gist of it... about 48 hours ago Pheebe just laying on the bed and all of a sudden I heard crunch crunch and it sounded like plastic and she started choked and then swallowed whatever before I could get her mouth open and see what it was... I've been watching her and her poopy and everything seems to be ok except last night she vomited a little in the middle of the night... so when I told them that at Florida Aid to Animals they decided she might have to have an xray and referred me to an Animal Hospital... so we went there she had a thorough exam and they felt that she didn't need an xray at this time because everything was okay and her poopie is ok and she's eating .... so I discussed a lot of things with them and they gave me a referral to a place called barkbusters I will check that out along with another name that I got... and they had the Revolution flea tick and heartworm medicine so that is what i got ... when she still had residue of the benadryl and she was a really good girl only did a little bit of growling ....today taking dad to get a walker...Medicare will pay for it so he said ok...getting down to the nitty gritty so need to get the rig roll ready ...Hardee Lakes a week from today...happy here...have a good one & B safe ..donna

Morning Donna and all,

Glad you got Phoebe checked out yesterday. Whatever she ate wil probably pass through her system. Hope the referrals can help you. I have used Revolution for years. Easy and effective all in one med.

Cloudy here this morning but might have a little sun possible. Going into mid 30's so will be nice before the really bitter cold moves in for next week or part of it. Been watching pics of rains and mudslides in CA. Hope all you gals out there are okay and away from it. Mississippi River expected to crest at Memphis today.

Nothing exciting on agenda today. Little insulation work, dog walk etc. scale showing a loss of 20 pounds this morning :D
Neighbor and I are moving right along here. We know our goal is getting closer, pound by pound. By spring we're gonna feel great!

Been sending for travel info and thinking summer plans here. Have hitch itch already. Got new rugs for Pergo flooring, so Miss Molly happy camper. So, going to wish you all a safe and prosperous day out there.

Good morning Donna, Sue and all who follow.
Two lovely dog stories and a good start to the day. No rain so I can get the caulking on the RV done this afternoon once last night's rain dries up. Supposed to be sunny this afternoon, so I'm hoping for 2:00. Keep your fingers crossed. My first online 2D design/composition class starts today. Looking forward to it. The guy who cuts back my big shrubs, trees, etc. every winter is coming by this evening. Some pest has stripped nearly all my big cherry laurels. Nothing I did helped. So I'm having them cut down to the ground. I can't stand looking at the skeletons any longer. That's all there is for today, more than busy enough for me.

Travel safe

Ummmm...look again Nikki!

Yours didn't but mine did. Just the same ol' same ol' today with the addition of 2 pet sits. Seems I'm busier in January than in all of Nov. and Dec. And just heard from another client who needs this weekend and next week too. Will have Silver paid off in no time at this rate! LOL

Everyone take care,
Kathy

Have a flock of robins here this morning. They don't usually show up til Feb. Hope it is a harbinger of an early spring.

Still sitting in Bakersfield today. Son is being transferred to another hospital for more tests because numbers are going up instead of down. Gall bladder surgery maybe tomorrow, but maybe not. He really needs to get it removed since they think it is cause of pancreatitis. Then maybe we can all go home.

We have a little sun today, which is really nice. Getting tired of stepping in puddles and getting my shoes wet and dirty. Scrubbed them last night, so want them to stay clean. I also just finished vacuuming all the little crumbs that accumulate and I also put the one comforter I use for guests into its space bag and shrunk it down so it will fit under my bed.
