Good Morning, everyone!
It's another gloomy and windy day here in NW Tennessee! Lotus, you must be having the same kind of yuck weather in middle Tennessee??! I have some unsweet tea here if anybody wants a glass.
I learned that Southerners like their sweet tea brewed with the sugar dissolved in the hot water. We didn't do it that way up north - we just stirred the sugar in the cold tea and had most of it settle in the bottom! Something to be said for the Southern way, eh? I came up with a method to only have to brew one batch to satisfy both kinds of tea drinkers - I put sugar in the food processer and let 'er rip. It comes out a SUPER fine sugar, which dissolves much more easily in cold liquid. I keep it in the sugar bowl and it's just fine.
I wish the rain would stop because I usually drive across the yard to get the trailer into the driveway so I can work on it. Can't do it because the ground is too wet. If I backed up our driveway with the trailer (300'), I believe it would take most all day, if ever, to be successful. Backing up is NOT my strong point. I just can't seem to get the hang of it!! Grrrrrrrr...and I built a new PVC low-rise satellite dish mount for the trailer and I'm anxious to try it out!
So, everyone stay warm, dry and safe today. Echo, travel well. I'm sure you'll have adventures to tell us.
Michelle
PS: Here's a pic of the sat dish mount: (yes, that is a vodka/grapefruit in celebration of my accomplishment and it was yesterday evening, not this morning!
