Tuesday dawns bright

Good morning to all. Where is everyone this a.m.? It is already 6:30 here in Vegas. We went outside and sat and watched the sun rise over the desert this morning with our wake up coffee. Temps weren't bad and there is a breeze. Should only be 101 today heading towards under 100 weather for the rest of the week.
We are keeping busy with the house. Still having workers in and out. Mostly they show up and leave. Yesterday the knobs were supposed to go on the kitchen cupboards, but the screws were the wrong size. Maybe today. And the Screen door is half on. This is more like Brown County than Brown County.
The rest of our furniture is "supposed" to show up by the end of the week. We are not holding our breath. But then we'll be really busy. It will sure be nice to be able to sleep in a bed rather than the mattress on the floor.
I see those traveling are enjoying their trips. It will be a while before we go anywhere. Though we are thinking of going to Mexico after the first of the year.

Good morning all...and all...we are having a heat wave here for the next week not like you Carol but hot for this time of year...high 80 & 90...and my A/C quit working...after some trouble shooting research I think the fan is shot or froze up...compressor comes on so glad about that...now need to find someone to fix it...I am packing up the rig getting ready to roll hope this A/C thing does not hold me up...I am so ready to get out of Dodge... aka Greenville....so better get at it...can only work in the mornings...have a fun filled day & B safe donna...

Morning all.

Started my day at the grocery store, this is my first almost Fall (school has started) here in FL and I'm starting to see the thinning of the crowds my neighbor told me about. It's so nice to be able to drive/park/wander the aisles without it being packed to the gills.

Icing my knee now and then off on more errands. Seems like Tuesday had become errand day.

Slept in this morning, had a nice walk, came home fixed myself brunch and am being very, very lazy. Should do laundry or go sight-seeing or shopping ... but my butt seems fairly firmly planted and in the doing pretty much nothing mode!

But I have 20 more minutes until noon - so a lot of day to get more motivated (or not) .

As it's September, and the 1st day, today should have been a "Rabbits" morning. I said it, but not until after I had spoken to Peaches at some point. Not sure if it'll count. And it's my last month here in SD ... will, hopefully, be finished at the store a couple days into October. And, at some point, will talk with my boss and make a decision about next year. I'm hemming and hawing on that one, also, but haven't been formally offered it either.
