Hate to admit it, Longdog, that I have been used to driving with my first finger and thumb of my left hand because the middle finger would not bend enough to grip, and also driving with my thumb sort of locked on the steering wheel on my right hand! I'll grab and hold and then have trouble letting go. When I do let go, I have to stretch and pull at my thumb to get it straight again.
Driving back was OK because the novacaine was still working.
