Tuesday, Tuesday all around

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Tuesday, Tuesday all around

Good Morning! Haven't been to sleep yet, except for a few cat naps on the floor. I'll heat up the coffee and grab a snack, but I need to hurry back to PUPPY WATCH patrol! We now have 4 mewing, squirming pups to watch. The first week is always nerve wrecking on me, watching to be sure everyone keeps nursing well and gaining weight, etc. Hope Echo has survived the move so far. My body has been hurting just reading about all the lifting, toting and hauling...... Hope everyones travels are good ones and those of you that have headed home recently only to find the burr shivers....begin to warm up. Sort those travel pics, you know we are waiting to see them :)

Whoops, I've never had to set the morning table before and since I've cleaned out my food supply getting ready for our trip, I'll have to raid yours. :D So, the coffee is on and I've found blueberry muffins, boscitti, and lo and behold, I happen to have some bagels, cream cheese and lox still here. So help yourselves and feel free to add. I'm off and running to get ready for leaving tomorrow-I never feel ready-but Spain really is a civilized country and whatever I don't have, well I'll have to shop like Beth and Sparkle. Have a good day everyone and Echo, hope this is your last day of lifting and SOMEONE is giving you a massage at the end. carold

Good morning, I've been around, but had nothing to contribute for a few days. Today I can only contribute sympathy for those trying to move, having health problems or bad weather, and rejoice with those enjoying their travels and travel plans.

I'm excited about meeting up with Soos tomorrow and a couple of ORS members as well. Then on Thursday I'm going to my dd's in GA to go camping with them during their spring break next week. DD just bought a new 2010 humongous (33') TT and we'll be taking it on it's maiden voyage to a Corps of Engineers cg on Strom Thgurmond Reservoir. She also has a newly adopted puppy (lab mix), so it should be an interesting experience. I know nothing about towing, except what I've read here. She has only towed their (much shorter) boat, so there will probably be some tales to tell. We did reserve a big pull-thru site.

If I survive that trip, then it's my turn to really get excited and start final preparations for our Alaska caravan.

Happy day to all today!

Good Morning All
I've been away past few days due to death in family - an aunt on my father's side of what little family remains. She and my uncle lived on a farm in east TN, on Cumberland Plateau. It had been many years since my last trip there; had forgotten how beautiful the area is. Too early for spring wildflowers there but the redbuds were blooming.
My great grandparents settled in that area in the late 1800s, grandparents continued to farm the land there and it is where my father was born and grew up. I spent much time there as a child. The area was so remote that I was about 12 (mid to late 1950s) when TVA ran the first electric lines into the valley where the farm is located. More about that on another post later.
Storms firing up again and I'm not going to be able to even catch up on posts right now. Don't want to take chance of lightening getting my 'puter.
Missed all you ladies and hope you are doing well.

Today I'm going to take a trip into Corpus and get a stained glass pattern for Beth's door window. We are both getting packed up. After today Beth will just have one more day of work.

Gooood Morning? "Afternoon" Sistahs!!!!

Blue, (sarah) so sorry to hear of the loss in your family. Will have you in my prayers.

We are hard at it this morning. Call into work, if we hadn't we would have been sunk. GADS!!!! Could have cheerfully killed my son an hour ago. Good thing he wasn't in reach. He called to see how we were doing, they are suppose to be coming over? But he let me know that Jenny called a couple of weeks ago and told the power board to shut off the electric today and David went to the water board and told them to shut off the water today. All without saying a word to me...... Now granted the ele is in Jenny's name and the water is in David's name but I and Kelly are the one's who pay the bills. I was about floored, would have been sweet the power going off right in the middle of me doing something. Maybe like vacuuming the rugs? Or the water right in the middle of cleaning the bathroom and mopping floors. OMG I could just choke them both! Had to call the landlord to let him know, haven't heard back from him yet. It's still a major mess here but it's getting to be a smaller mess slowly but surely.

Ok need to get off my butt and busy again, I've allowed myself to sit long enough!!! ;)

Hope everyone has a good day and stays safe.

Love to all
