Someone's in the Kitchen with.....

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Someone's in the Kitchen with.....

Postby Lotus » Mon Mar 30, 2009 2:01 am

It's Monday morning and at this time, no one is in the kitchen with me!! Haven't gone to bed yet and thought I'd just leave a spread on the kitchen for "ya'll". It's the usual of coffee, biscotti, plus homemade biscuits with good 'ole hot sausage! Oh, and a variety of jams and preserves! Yum Yum!! Of course, Diet Coke also. There's plenty for all! Happy Monday to all of you!

Thanks Lotus. I am up and can't sleep so I think I'll help myself before heading back to bed.

Thanks for the coffee and food, Lotus-it's still hot and fresh-how I love virtual food, nothing goes bad. Echo, hope today is a better day. My DH and I were doing similar repacking yesterday. Got rid of our major furniture in storage, so was able to move from a 10x30 to a 10x10. Tried to get DH to get rid of almost everything, but he was not to be thwarted from "let's just get the da*** thing done-we'll sort it out when (and if) we buy a house." Did sneak a few things to the dump and Habitat :D So we're both pooped, and we still have about 2 hours of moving left to do. Well, off to read the posts I missed yesterday and then to storage. carold

Good Morning,..... so it WAS coffee I could smell at 2:30 this morning!

Looks like another overcast day here ... yesterday was too. But as it's a work day I don't really care. I have to get some breakfast and then get out the door by shortly after 7. Have a great day everyone!

Gooooood Morning Sistahs!!!!

OMG, I so do NOT want to be out of bed! I'm pooped and the thought of going back to bed for a few more hours is hard to resist! YAWN!!
Didn't really get done what I wanted to get done yesterday, messing with David's stuff half the day sure did put us behind schedule. But except for some tidying up in the bedroom that is done. When I finally figured out I had nothing left to pack in there??? I just sat and looked around, I think I was befuddled??? The last bit of it took forever! All the little pieces and what not. We are going to take off Tuesday to finish up. We have to pack up the kitchen, get rid of furniture and clean. The last bit will be to grab up the camping gear out of the cellar. Will probably be ready for the loony bin and a straight jacket by then! David only has class today so he will be back here today to get more of his stuff.

Ok gonna go check my email and get my comic fix. Got to be into work today at 10:30am, I love it. I'm swilling coffee as fast as I can and I brought some cinnamon rolls to share.

Hope everyone has a great day and please be safe.

Love to all

Good morning everyone from COLD Indiana. It is 80 in Mazatlan so what are we doing here? Yesterday the TV mentioned it might snow - got cold enough but just rained.
We have been busy doing everything that has to be done when you get home from a trip. We were gone 134 days, did 6300 miles in the Alfa and another 4000 in the Jeep. Still working on my pictures so still might share some.
House was in good shape when we got home. But took me 3 tries before I could get the right combination of buttons to get the microwave working. And I keep trying to step on the petal to flush the toilet. Had to look for the silverware drawer.....
Rearranged my kitchen cupboards and washed all my new dishes and put them away. We promised ourselves we would use them as "everyday" dishes and not SAVE them for special occaisions.
Remember all the lady bugs we took west with us when we left?! Well all their relatives are here in the house looking for them. Will be glad when this swarming season is over. Don't know how they get in but they manage.
Today I have to get caught up on all our household paperwork ick... AND call that dam credit card company that messed us up while we were without phone or internet.
Any way just wanted to say hi....

Morning everyone. I've been trying for the past 3 weeks? to get the correct contact lenses for my eyeballs! This is the first I have ever worn contacts and I love them, but just can't seem to get the right fit. Right now, the one in my right eye is WRONG. Feels like a film has been laid over my eye! So, I'm off this morning to see the eye doc ONE MORE TIME!

Also, had both Fred and Bailey in last week for some dental work. Cost me a bundle, but they both seem to be doing pretty good. I have to take Bailey back today to get her pain patch removed. Then they both go back next weekend for a follow up visit. Somehow, I never remember as a kid having pets that required dental work! Is there something different in the foods we feed them now? These guys have been very happy as I have been feeding them "soft" food. Can't see buying canned food, so I've been cooking them rice and veggies and ground beef or ground turkey. Needless to say, the LOVE it. I may never get them switched back to dry food!

Spring is here but being a tease. One day it'll be nice and comfy outside, the next ya have to grab the sweatshirt! But, at least it isn't snowing!

Echo, you wear me out with all you are doing and need to do yet. I do not envy you having to move. But, I'm glad for you that after this, it'll get easier and you and Kelly will be all that much closer to being on the road. BTW, did you ever get the BP issue straightened out with the doc?

Barbzee, we sure do miss your morning recap here. But, hope you are doing okay and taking care of yourself.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Paulette,

Don't know if it's straightened out yet or not. Got another appt on Thursday morning at 9:30am. Hopefully something is better. Well my ankles are at any rate!! At least most of the time now they look like ankles and not club with toes!!!

But I have hope yet!!! Whatever is decided I hope it's cheap as come April 10th I will no longer have any insurance. :?
