Top O' the Morning to you,

Blue sky, sunshine and around 80 on tap here today. Neighbors and I are going kayaking down thecAuSable river today. Should be fun. Haven't been down the river in a long time. Going about 4.5 hours.

Deck project got no where's yesterday  it's not going anyplace. Got into other things and mowed grass too. Will work on it tomorrow. Looks like a staining session coming up after weekend.

Glad to hear all who were at OR GTG are on the mend. Looks like Shipshewana GTG is shaping up.

Hope you all have a nice day today. Watch that crazy weather in the plains if you are on the road.

Good morning

Darn, I hate this laptop. Dang thing does things I don't want exactly when I don't want it to. Like lose posts. A LOT!

Not sunny here; not sure if it will be later on didn't watch the weather on the news. Don't shoot me but I'm kinda hoping for rain just to see if Angel's window is finally fixed for sure.

Finally remembered what I needed to go to town for--I need a new dressy dress for my niece's wedding! And it's in 2 weeks! Guess I better get right on that.

Will be busy weekend have 2 clients and my assistant's dogs too, to watch. Thought I had a freebie next weekend and was planning on camping but a horse client asked if I was available, darn it. Haven't heard from her since she asked me so I'm not sure if she needs me or not. Will text her later and find out.

Take care and if it's sunny, enjoy it!
Kathy

good morning ladies, getting ready to hit the road, I so wanted to go through Yosemite, however, snow the other day, and the next two days are rainy so......in view of the fact I've not driven on icy roads in 15 years, I'd rather save that joy for when my tires are brand new. Will head straight south today but take that Tehachepi turnoff and maybe check out Lake Havasu on the way home. I'm getting antsy to get home now as Maggie and I have a new adventure already in the works. I'm not telling, I'm going to let you be surprised when I post pictures. But it does involve a return to Canyon Lake AZ. :D
One last cup of coffee and load the car. Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

Ava, there is a really neat railroad museum in Tehachapi. I know a couple who worked very hard to make it happen then to rebuild after arson took it down. Its in the spot which had the old railway station spot ( its old, but new because they salvaged what they could and had all artifacts out for remodel before it was burned, so it looks like the old and has all the old artifacts and history.) safe travels.as we saw snow was minimal and weather is now clearing per last nights weather report. Here in the valley possible showers until noon then clearing and back to sunshine with 80's gradually climbing into mid 90's by next week.

It's a little late for coffee but we finally got settled. My son and I left for Florida on Wednesday. We left a day early so we could take our time. We made it to Penascola the first day and had almost 500 miles to go. We were going to go part way yesterday and come in today. My son decided to make it all the way yesterday. We got to Tampa about 5:00 and the traffic was terrible. Thank goodness there weren't any accidents in our lane or it would have been a parking lot. The bridge over the bay was at a stand still going the other way.

We waited around half the day waiting for my grandson's mother to bring him. We all went out to eat and she was trying to talk him out of coming with us. I haven't seen him in 2 years because my son let her take him to Turkey last summer. I'm sure he will be glad to have a break from her. I know I would.

We are at a big KOA and it's almost full. We weren't getting enough electricty this afternoon and I had to turn off the air conditioner for a while. It is HOT. I can't wait to head for home.

I talked to Harold tonight and he broke the back window out of his truck again. I knew when he bought a short bed truck that was going to happen and this is the second time.
