WEDNESDAY AND WARMER

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

WEDNESDAY AND WARMER

Postby Nasoosie » Wed Mar 25, 2009 4:34 am

GOOD MORNING, ALL!

I am running late here this morning, so will hurry. Cinnamon-hazlenut coffee today, and a warm woodfire here! As this may be the last day I can drive my truck in here due to warming trend (although it's only 12 out there right now) I need to be sure all my heaviest things are in there by the time I leave for school. Backpacking other stuff out will have to be what I do, including Twitch, the kitty! Sure hope I don't fall in the mud with him!

I hope you all have a fun day doing something special, and that you let us all know about it! We so love to read about each other's forays and adventures! Off I go---------happy Wednesday!

Oh yes.....am so looking forward to meeting up with Liz and another friend, Pete, while in FL! We plan to go out to a lobster feast all you can eat place on the evening of April 1st----any other takers down there?? If you think you can make it, let us know and we will give you directions via private messages!

Good morning Soosie and all our sisters out there!

Thanks for putting the coffee on, Soos,.... I'll grab a quick cup. I was up late last night watching various women's basketball games in the NCAA tourny, so I'm not at full steam yet today. A little caffeine will help!

Have a great day everyone!

Goooood Morning Sistahs!!!!

Oh my! Cedar, you got that wrong Hon! It should be a lot of caffeine!! At least on this end any way! I'll get thru 1/2 my pot here, then I might feel ready for the day? But then again???

Rainy here this morning, weather Yahoo says rain for the rest of the week with some thunder storms thrown in there too. Suppose to rain this weekend too. OH JOY! Why the he77 does it always seem to rain when I'm moving? And in Maine the two times I moved up there? I had sleet and ice to deal with. Ya know as much as I love moving the rain just adds to the pleasure!!! I asked David last night when he and Jenny were going to start packing? He said that they would start moving this Friday and that they had until the 31st. Gads! :o  I can be pretty good at leaving things until the last minute? But the kids have got me beat on this one. I hope they have some friends that will help them!!! Kelly and I can on Saturday and Sunday but that's it.

Ok, I'm off here. Got to check email and of course get my comic fix. Also in desperate need of a shower this morning! I'm working on my pot of straight up black coffee and have some blueberry muffins to share. Anyone want one??

Hope you all have a super day, please stay safe.

Love to all

Good Morning All

Coffee about gone here so putting on another pot for those of us who need an extra shot this morning as well as those lucky enough to sleep in a while today. Must warn you tho, I use a dark roast and tend to make my coffee a bit on the strong side.

Was up too late last night playing bingo; no wins. I had not played bingo in more than 30 years before Sparkle's last visit. We played once while she was here and I've been back twice since. It would be nice to win once in a while.

Soosie - so excited for you on up coming trip to FL but loading up does not sound like fun. You will have to have an extra lobster for me as well as Beth.

I did a bit of over seeding lawn grass at rental property and my house yesterday in anticipation of several days of rain coming up. The rental property land is flat so seed not likely to get washed away. My yard is mostly a steep hill and with amount of rain now in forecast, I suspect the seed will end up on another property down the hill. Not one of my smarter moves. Also got lower back porch somewhat cleaned up. Pollen still much too high to bother hosing it down yet. Everything being covered with fine yellow/green powder as pine and other trees shed blooms.

Wind, heavy rain and some storms in forecast over next few days. I will likely stay indoors, perhaps getting some house work chores off the to do list. Never was all that good at housekeeping so those chores tend to keep getting pushed to bottom of list.

Echo - Here's hoping you will get a few breaks in the rain for your moving task.

Stay warm, dry, and safe today.

Have a great day, all.... ;)

Good-morning, had a post made up already, but got a phone call and when I tried to submit my post, I had been knocked off the forum, had to sign back in. Oh well, good for you all as you won't be bored now. I've been missing for a couple of days here, No idea what anyone has been up too, but will leave this short and go see.

Have a great day all, my area, is rainy. Good reading or craft day, if I could find a good movie.

Take care and stay safe

It's still morning in CA! well, just barely. But I am getting caught up and back to normal after my DD and GDG's two week stay. On the day they flew home I came down with a cold, now am starting to feel better and get back to normal activities. No news on date to bring home RT, but I think it will be soon!

Warm here too, low 70s are forecast for today. Maybe will go out for a walk this afternoon. No intense exercise with this coughing.

Yesterday I drove to Sacramento to pick up step Mom at airport and had intended to stop at REI on my way home. Sorry to say I zoomed right past the Highway 50 exit so no fun rv shopping. They had a cool set of plastic dishes last year that I was hoping to check out again. Will look online.

OK, on to my next set of chores. Hope everybody is having a fun day or at least staying dry!

p.s. Liz and Noosie, you two are going to have to eat a lobster for each of us!

I've been busy running around, getting ready for our trip to Spain. Unfortunately we leave on April 1st or I would be eating lobster that day. :( Hope everyone had a great day. carold

We will eat enough lobster for you all! Sure do wish more of you could meet with us down there.

Step one is my getting out of here tomorrow, on time, in the dark through the mud in my knee-high mucker boots, carrying Twitch the cat and Molly trying to avoid the water and mud! If I fall face down in that quagmire, the trip will be OFF! :)

This is Thursday morning....no time to begin a new thread----way too much to do. I'll check back this afternoon when I muck back in here!
