Cold Monday Morning

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Morning all,

Chily -11 here this morning, but the sun is coming up. Don't have to go out right now so I don't care. Will be heading to town later to run errands etc. Miss Molly is all pottied for now and happily chewing her Bully Stick. She went with me to visit some friends yesterday, who have been wanting to see her, so had another adventure and a ride.

Ava, loved your description of your early morning at Q the other day. Sounded so peaceful. Everybody seems to be enjoying themselves. Looks like big storm heading to east coast. I'm sure Irmi and others of you are glad you are in Fl.

No breakfast offerings here this morning, sorry. Heading to store later.

So time to get cleaned up, wash hair and get rolling around here. Have a nice day all :)

Good morning Sue & everyone!

Yes, Sue, I'm thrilled I'm here in FL and not at our home in MD. It's snowing there right now and it's going to continue snowing through tomorrow. MD won't get hit as hard as most of the other northeastern states, but any snow is too much.

I'm enjoying reading the updates on Molly, the posts and pictures taken at the Q GTG and other upcoming GTG's. Speaking of GTG's, we've had a mini GTG here in Ocala as Nan pulled in Thursday and she's leaving today. We've enjoyed going to some of our favorite restaurants in the area and sitting outside catching up.

Coffee, chocolate milk, cereal and cherry pie is available for breakfast, so please help yourselves. Have a good day everyone!

Good morning! Another round of snow happening here. Looks like it snowed most of the night and is steady still. Schools are closed all over the place. I was thinking of shoveling some of it but think I might as well wait until maybe later if it slows down. Thank goodness the snowblower is working! Used it Sat for the first round and was so glad it ran! That was a heavy snow compared to this lighter snow. Are we having fun yet? The dogs like to play in it. Well, the younger one does more than the older one! But they both run around in it so that gets rid of some of the excess energy! Sounds like a fun time at the gtg's! Glad Sandi got the last "word" in! Not sure what I'm going to get into today. Obviously not going out so may work upstairs and start prepping my bedroom for paint. A long overdue job! The kitchen island job is done now and I have to say it came out great! Got it stained the other day and mounted lights underneath it so it really looks nice. A whole new look for the kitchen and extra cupboard and counter space.

Hope everyone has a good day and stay safe and warm. ( Irmi, may I have a small piece of that cherry pie, please? My favorite!)

G'morning all :)

Crikey, I checked the radar map for the east--getting quite a blast of cold & snow!!! O'Sharon, looks like "round two" is getting you good! Y'all keep warm out there!

Missed so much while I was awol. Had some "poofing" going on, then some stupidity on my part  But seems like all is will with most except all the "old people" aches & pains  Martha, cataract surgery is on!

Q gtg thread will explain what I've been doing the past several days. What a great time it was! I'm now in Parker AZ--looks like some rain today, so I'll do laundry & shop since they have more amenities here than in Q. Going back to Q tomorrow to catch some of the extended gtgers....

Kathy, sorry the rig was a wreck! Barbie, will you get lotsa extra hours now that someone quit? Nice to have extra money:)

Y'all have a great day & be safe 8-)

Good afternoon, all..

Well, have been away here for awhile....those on FB know that Spinner had surgery last Thurs. for a tumor removal from his left hind leg, so my days have been nursing the "baby boy" with return trips to the vet for dressing changes and wound care as the vet had to leave it open because of the lack of skin for stitching... He hates the "collar", so we've had to be creative to keep him from tearing the bandage off....FYI...."press and seal" food wrap works great!!! ;) and a little hot sauce on top of the wrap does the trick.... ;) The vet sent the tumor off for testing so will know more later this week...and after 2 more trips to get things changed and check, we should be good to go....He's really been good about the whole thing....

So I need to do some reading to catch up with you all...so I'll grab some coffee and get to it...

Will keep you all posted...

Have a great one!

Lori, sorry to read about Spinner's surgery but it sounds like things are beginning to fall into place. Hopefully all the tests will come back with good results. Sending lots of good thoughts your way.

Finally have a day off! Yesterday was really busy so I was really tired last night! Slept 10 hours!

It is still a balmy 36* right now and sunny with a high in the mid 40's later on! So nice for this time of year! Just that much less winter cold and snow to deal with before spring! Feel for those out east dealing with a nasty snowstorm!

Just housework and taxes to do today. Maybe frost my hair later too. It is getting a little dark and frumpy looking.

Glad to hear Spinner is doing well!

Hope you all have a great day! :D

on edit: Just realized I was in Florida exactly a year ago and it was in the mid 40's there too! That wasn't very pleasant tho!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
