New Years Day

Up late ushering in the New Year, then back up at 0745 to turn on tv to watch the Rose Parade. Had grilled steaks and oven fries for supper after appetizer of shrimp. A good day though no football. For some dumb reason none of tv stations, NBC, abc, or CBS carried the Rose Bowl game, the only one I would have watched. But then no CA team playing so little point. Brenda my friend who is signed on here but seldom drops by was watching both parade and game carefully as her niece was in the Florida marching band at both. Looking forward to getting through the next few months and hoping that is the end of hubby's rough treatments.
