The last of our tornado warnings were at 3:00 AM tho thunderstorms continued until about dawn. It has been calm for past several hours but Wendy and I get to replay the bad weather scenario again later today and into tonight as severe weather is expected to redevelop by mid afternoon. Schools have already let the kids out early so buses will be off road before bad weather starts.

We have a lot of new tornado shelters since the devastating storms of 2011. Noticed on news that some of them allowed people to bring pets (only if crated) for first time. No problems were encountered so plan is to expand the number of shelters allowing pets.
There is a small RV Park at the US Space & Rocket Center; know Beth and Kathleen have stayed there, maybe others. Anyway with last night's storms the people in the RV park were sent to one the concrete block structures at the center. Once those from RV park were in place, the building was opened to locals and more than 200 people rode the storms out there in the museum.
Since my garage is partly under ground, Nicky and I use it for our storm shelter.

I need to get started on paying first of month bills; no fun tasks for today.
