Good morning, Kathleen & all who follow,
Enjoying my last day in San Diego. I'll miss my morning walks along the beach. Oh, and I'll miss the kids too. ;)
Went to Coranado Island yesterday, road the train up to LA on Saturday to visit son & DIL. In general, I've just gotten to know this area a litle better - thanks to Lyn & the kids.
Going to do a Costco run this morning (leave enough behind to keep the kids from starving to death) & then spend time at the beach before we head off to the airport.

Kathleen, I believe the sign of a good day is how tired you are when you get home. Sounds like you had a great day!
Ava, it's so great hearing about your progress. You are inspiring each of us that little by little we can do anything!

Well, the kids are up. Coffee is ready & pastries from Sprouts are ready for breakfast.
Later...

I'm up but not moving very fast. I had a deviled egg for breakfast. No Easter eggs here but I made some deviled eggs for the occasion. I usually buy a coconut cake for Easter but when I was at Sam's Saturday they were passing out cake samples. I convinced myself that I had my coconut cake and didn't need to buy one.

I need to put a flea treatment on the outside cats. This is the time of year that the fleas get bad in the barn. I can only get a treatment on a couple of cats at a time. They hate it and if they smell it they all take off.

My son is planning on getting a new phone in June. He thinks I should take his old phone and get rid of my tablet because I could use the phone to get online. I wish people would leave me and my antique phone alone. My phone stays in my purse unless I want to make a call. I don't want to walk around all the time with my phone in my hand checking it every 5 minutes. If I got another phone then people would want to be texting me and expect me to text them back.

I'll say Good Morning but will be Good After Noon before its posted !! :D I've been relocated, at my DD's in Lake Wales. She went up and drove me and RV down, grandson drove her car. Family wanted me here for Easter and think its time I gave my sis a break  I have another dr app next Monday to have eyes rechecked and form filled out for DMV to get my lic. But this week has to be better then last week for me or I will just cancel app and know I will be in Fl through this summer, may be after app anyway. Surgery can't be done till next Fall , due to shingles.

My DD has a pool at the home she just bought, and I've missed mine sooo much, now I get to swim and exercise in hers AND don't have to keep it clean !!, Hey can't ask better then that. She has a circle drive with backin parking spot, guess who that belongs too :D My favorite state park is not far, so will go out and stay there from time to time. I'll have to be driven out, you all know how much I really like that !!! :(

My summer plans are probably all down the drain, but waiting through this week before canceling them. But to the high side of all this, I should be shaped up and have my tan back. Just being in Fl I tan, never lay out in that sun. Actually I think the heat cooks me instead of tanning

The people I hoped to see down here before everything went haywire will just have to come see me. My DD has a huge house and loves to entertain, so I know my company will all be welcome too.

Wishing you all a Great Monday !!! After you wake up

good morning ladies
it was back to work this morning but I'm so close now its easy to come home during my break and get stuff done. So....since my water
inlet line was leaking I couldn't get hooked up and have been using the pump. Tightened up the valve and thought I had fixed it but it
was still leaking. Went to Camping world and got a new one, guy told me how to just push item A into item B and wahla, screw this on
and your done. Well first ya gotta cut the old piece off. So I did that, but guess what, that stuff doesn't push on like he said. I just didn't
have the strength to do it and since I cut the water line I can't even use the pump now or it will all shoot out that line. Called Genes RV
Repair and he's coming out tomorrow at 10. Decided I'd been messing with this waterline trying to fix it for a week now and I'm done
with it, let the expert fix it. Course it isn't going to be cheap but it will be done right and it won't take long for my smashed pinched
thumb to heal (yep, ouch,). Luckily I still have fix up funds in the bank. I will spend my energies cleaning up the edges of the room in
prep for the new floor. Then I can concentrate on arranging my space and putting stuff away. Sometime in the near future I'll need to
fix the toilet but its usable for now.(it needs new seals)
Ya'll have a great day and be safe. :D

Went out for brunch with my brothers and their wives and a few others yesterday. Was really a nice place and great food! Ate too much of course. Came home, took a walk and then took a nap. Was absolutely gorgeous out yesterday! Mid 70's, sunny and no wind. Then over night we had a few thunderstorms roll thru. That was nice to listen to. This morning, I woke up to a loon calling across the lake. Now it is warm again but extremely windy. Much of the ice is now off the lake except for the bigger bays but that won't last long either. Spring has sprung!

Am heading out shortly for my golf league meeting. We start in 2 weeks! Yay! The course we have been on for many years, closed up, so we are starting on a new golf course this year. It is supposed to be more challenging but very nice, so I am excited about that!

Hope you all had a nice Easter and a nice day today!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

I'm getting pretty crabby in my old age.

Some idiot has been calling and texting my phone looking for someone named Jazz. I have told them they have the wrong number and they wanted to argue with me one time. Yesterday I happened to be by my phone when they called and someone got an ear full. Harold had to come see who I was mad at.

Someone kept texting my work phone trying to get me to tell them who I was. I finally told them they had sent a text to an official U.S. Government phone and their number was being turned over to the NSA for investigation. The texts stopped

I get calls late at night for some bootleg taxi from obviously drunk people. I always think I should have told them I'd be right there & make them wait, but figured they'd keep calling.
