Friday and the Rain's on a come back to GA...

Good morning, all....guess who's up with the chickens again... Oh, well, such is life....
The Weather Channel is back on DirecTV and it's telling me that this weekend is about shot with rainy weather heading our way....well, maybe Easter Sunday will have some sunshine, but yep, mostly rain...so good thing I got my crocheting and a good book on my Nook, and of course, there's the TV....

Started doing my walking routine yesterday with my friend, Cathy....did about 3 miles....hope it can keep it up....

Okay, nothing much more to report right now...so the coffee is ready and some mini-muffins fresh from the oven....

had plans for day trip with the RV but think that will be on hold
just going to Wickham for the day...sunrise service at home park on Sun.
looks like clouds instead of sun...but I will go anyway..i went to
Jo-Annes last week to a quilt block class...now I want to do some
sewing things make more blocks...watching youtube on quilts...great info..
...working on a baby blanket/quilt for new GreatGrandDaughter
has to be done by July...I will do blog post later today if you want to take a look

Ava & I toasted to her official move-in last evening Had great conversation! As I've said before, my travels are all about hearing life stories! Wow, Ava has had an amazing life!!! Thanks for sharing, Ava.

Sue, are you still shoveling snow in the U.P.? Kathleen, it's good to hear you are home. CArol, when will you be heading to your home in NC?

It's a little damp here in Ocala and looks like it'll stay that way into tomorrow. The grocery store on the other side of the highway, which used to be a Sweet Bay, is now a Winn-Dixie and opened for business this morning. We went to see the new store, as did lots of others. We took advantage of lots of sales and bargains. The rest of the day will probably be spent inside. Here's wishing all of you a happy Good Friday!

Good morning ladies
talk about up with the chickens Lori, I heard a rooster this morning when I was out walking Maggie. Just cool beans, there are some
indian homes scattered around here n there so I'm assuming somebody down the road has chickens.
Had a great visit with Carol, and I did nothing last night other than sit back and relax there is plenty of time to get organized, although
not something I want to take forever to do, I'd like to give myself a few weeks cause I do have summer coming up and lots of time while
schools out to do the rest. Hot water works, no problems there but still have to run over to camping world to see about a waterfill valve
for the hookup. It seems to be leaking. I did fill the water tank halfway using the other fill spout so I can at least have water at the faucet
by using the pump and can flush the toilet. Need one more length (10 ') of sewerhose (walmart). Am tossing the old stuff as its pretty brittle.
Daughters cat is doing fine, staying up high on a shelf I put in and she just cries now and then. She will eventually settle in but she seems
happy at the moment. And of course Maggie is in 7th heaven.
Thats it from me, gotta get to walmart.

Didn't know about the cat. Are you just cat sitting, or are you keeping it?

Frosted my hair last night. Turned out pretty nice! Back to being a blonde for the summer!

when daughter moved out of condo she asked me to get the cat cause she couldn't take it with her, so its been with me at sons house.
They were always mean to her and even though I'm not a cat person and don't want one, I was not about to leave her there in that
abusive environment. So....I still don't have a cat its daughters cat she just happens to live with me.

Ava, I have 2 of those kind of cats living with me. I still call them my son's cats but they have been here for 5 years so I think they are home.

Good for you Ava! What does she look like? What is her name? Kitties are relatively easy to take care of since they are so independent.
