Good Sunday Morning, all...

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Good Sunday Morning, all...

Postby rvgrammy1953 » Sun Apr 13, 2014 3:40 am

It's early, but I did get a full 6 hours, so I'm good... ;) Weather has been beautiful the last few days....low 80s and more to come.... :)

Our social calendar has finally slowed down, so we got a few days to ourselves last week....Did a trip into Savannah for some "Grandma shopping" and visiting little shops for new cooking spices for Ernie... Found a neat store for the 4 legged kids...lots of quality items for them...even got a couple of toys for Spinner that he can't tear up in 5 minutes....They have a website. http://www.thegreatfulhound.com Give it a "look-see"....and they have a FB page, too...

Well, not much planned for today....watching "The Masters" Golf tourney and maybe some reading....

Have pancakes ready for you all and of course, fresh coffee...help yourselves...

Have a great day, all..

good morning ladies
needless to say I'm up early and just waitin it out. The fifthwheel is supposed to get hauled today but down in the pit of my stomach I
feel its not gonna happen. The guy said he would call me today. Its probably just nerves and anxiety but I don't know anybody that enjoys
sitting and waiting for the phone to ring. Loaded the car last night with the washer and dryer and will take that over soon as its daylight.
Yesterday evening when I was unloading the car over at my site, a couple times the neighbors came through there utilizing my gate to
the reservation. They said hello and I said hello back but nobody said anything about the fact that its gonna get fenced off and they won't
be able to traipse through my yard anymore. Guess they will know it when it happens and a padlock shows up on the gate.
About ready for another cup of coffee. Will stop at McDonalds for breakfast on the way to my site as I am totally out of anything edible
here.
Ya'll have a great day, be safe and hope you have good weather today.

Hope it happens for ya Alice! Keep us posted. Waiting for a friend, motorcycle ride and breakfast at Pollys in Hemet. Been wanting one of their wonderful cinnamon rolls for a couple of weeks now. If you get there for breakfast they haven't frosted them yet and that's the way I like them. Not a fan of frosting. Not much else going on here, so hoping everyone has a great day!

Good morning all, lying here on the couch...my back is "acting up" after five years of pain free living. Interesting thing about this, all the pain I down in my leg. As long as I m flat, no pain.
Thinking of you Barbie and hoping you are feeling better. Food poisoningisno fun.
Difficult to type while on my back. Hooray...Bill and Carol are back in the States!

Ava, the old "hurry up and wait..." thing is miserable! Hope it all happens and smoothly, today!

Glad to hear Carol and Bill are back. Hopefully, now you two can take your time getting home and Bill can get healed up soon!

I have the day off today. Worked yesterday all day but didn't have much energy. Have some things to do around here today but will take my time. It is getting cold here again. Highs this week will only be in the 30's with snow  coming on Wednesday. :( . Part of the lake is open now so the geese are happy about that. They sure are making a lot of racket tho, with their fighting over mates!

Chelsea blew her winter coat the past two weeks and is looking smooth and silky now! She seems to like her new cage now too. She can get a little more exercise in there now going up and down the levels. She gets an hour of playtime in the mornings and a couple hours at night before I go to bed. On my days off, she pretty much is out all day if I am home but sleeps most of that time anyways. They typically sleep about 18+ hours per day.

I put up a thistle feeder on my deck last fall but didn't have much action on it. Now the finches are back and are really going after it. Lots of pretty colored birds and pretty songs! Lola loves to watch them come and go.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Lyn,
Sounds like it might be caused by your sciatic nerve. I have to watch the position I sit in driving - more in my case to not have the seat hit the back of my knee. Truck drivers get it often from putting wallets in a back pocket. No matter what the cause is - no fun. Hope it gets better soon.

A good exercise for sciatica is laying on your stomach and then raising your upper body, propped up on your elbows. They also suggest to try reading or using your laptop from that position. Keeps a different set of back muscles stretched.
