Good morning, all...

Warm in GA this week...It got up to 80F yesterday and heading there again today....it's so nice to be able to open windows and air things out...Cleaned the carpet in the bedroom on Tues. and the rest of that room....yesterday, did the laundry....today will be a "me" day...doing just what I want to do... Ernie's going golfing with the guys...

Got hacked yesterday, on FB....well, that was a pain in the butt.. But all is well, now...I remember the same thing happened to Beth a couple of weeks ago...so stayed fairly calm and did what I had to do...mainly, just change the password...

Okay, not much more to add here....Except, a warm Welcome to the new gals...I'm so behind on my reading here, so will just do a "blanket welcome" for now...

Coffee is ready, and Raisin & Cinnamon English muffins, too...Enjoy!!!

Good Morning Lori and All!

Molly has been like a puppy this past week but for the one day she couldn't eat or drink again. Interesting to hear that grain might block bile ducts, Lenora. Molly is all grain-free now, and I guess I should change Dinah to all grain-free food as well. Your grand kids must love going to the rescue shelter to hug the inhabitants! What a neat idea that is. Hope to get to the pool this afternoon and take advantage of the warmth and sunshine. Son arrives tonight to meet with possible carpenter/conractor who will do work on this house. Happy Thursday to all.

Good morning
Sun is burning off a heavy fog this morning and its going to be a hot day with no shade where I'm parked. I'm back at Wickham for a week. Forecast is for rain off and on starting tomorrow I think.
Magic got an oil change and house batteries checked before I left St Cloud yesterday. Guy says batteries okay so I still don't know what might have caused the convertor breaker to trip.
Nothing exciting planned for the day. Maybe some serious cleaning then go wash my hair. And of course enjoy the sunshine while its available.
Sandy had me taste some almond milk when I was there. Much to my surprise, I liked it. Something I will certainly try again.

Good morning all!

Glad to hear FL is getting WARM! Sarah, you'll enjoy the sun & have shade if you use your awning Better than using your awning to keep rain from your door Soos, good to see you this morning! Glad Molly is back to her normal--no grain sure made a difference for my Tigg. He hasn't had a seizure in 7-8 months, & the few seizures he had during the previous 4 months were very very mild. It's been a year now since I switched for all my poopers. I'm a firm believer in it!!!

Took cousin for her dr appt yesterday, & we drove through Santa Ana to see the old neighborhood--our grandparents lived there, her family & 3 of our other aunts/uncles/cousins too. Still looks good, well-cared for, but now unfortunately a "high crime" area with gangs, drive-bys,etc. Spending time in house with aunt & cousin, I see a lot of nightly news--everyday, one or more shootings/killings!

Today, 80 degrees! Looking forward to a day of relaxation! Hope y'all have a great day & be safe always!

Good morning from cloudy, windy and WARM Southern Illinois. I was 61 degrees when I got up at 6:30, feels a lot better than the 3 degrees we have had so many mornings this winter. The warm temps though are bringing in the possibility of thunderstorms and possible tornadoes.
Sorry they couldn't find out what was causing your converter breaker to trip Sarah but glad your batteries are good. I like Almond Milk in my smoothies and Coconut milk is also very good. You might like a Nutri Bullet, makes eating fruit and veggies easy.

I had to have Elsie's battery jumped yesterday to get her to the garage yet AGAIN. I heard a strange clicking noise back in December and decided to wait till warmer weather to take her in, well guess I waited to long. I am hinting to DH that I think it's time to trade, I think he is not listening though.

I'm hoping the rain holds off until after my yoga class and my acupuncture appointment today.

Good Morning ladies... the temps seem to be gradually moving upward... it will be in the mid 80s here in Ocala today and even at home in Normal they will have 50+ all good news...

Lori sorry but I already had oatmeal... but those raisin muffins sound delicious... when you get hacked on Facebook how do you know and what do they do??

Glad everything is ok with Magic Sarah... and also glad Molly is ok again... Carol time for you to come back and take care of me!! lol... yes BJ I have left my engine much too long and had to have it jumped... my son in law gave me a trickle charger to help keep it moderately charged...

Has any one here heard of a Lorna Sloan... I thought she was a member of the forum so I added her and immediately she told me that she just got a check for $30,000 and did not have to ever pay it back... she gave me a name and a link to: Steve Burkner and said he could help me also... it sounds like a huge scam to me... any opinions?

Tried putting awning out to hold down heat build up in RV today but seems much too windy. Haven't learned how to judge when too much but with the arms bouncing around decided not to take a chance and rolled it back up. That just means that later in day may have to run A/C for a while.

Cooler here in Arizona, but VERY windy where I am at Lake Pleasant, on the highest part of the campground. It is so windy that it was causing my rear slide awning to flap like crazy, so after I got out of bed, I put that slide in. I can still get to bathroom and most things, so hopefully wind will drop before bedtime. Other slide does not face the wind. Only one night left here anyway.

Since I don't have levelers, this thing rocks like crazy if the wind is hitting it just right. Reminds me of being on a ship. I used to love being on the ocean and getting rocked to sleep at night, but this is a little less soothing when you imagine your awnings flapping!

Watching people pull out, which will mean more quiet and privacy around here, not that it is not private enough anyway, but I do like being alone with all this scenery. Got a teleconference later with the college, which makes me feel in touch, at least.

We are in the middle of a big snowstorm right now. About 5 inches so far with another 5 to go. It is the heavy wet stuff, good for snowballs but not good for driving. The wind is picking up too so we are under a blizzard warning all night as well. Schools were closed again. They have a lot of days to make up this spring.

Nothing else new here. Just hunkered down for the night. We were really busy at work all afternoon so I am tired. It is funny that we always get really busy during snowstorms!

Kathleen, that is a scam. Don't contact anyone! Like they say, if it sounds too good to be true, it is. And people just don't give away money, or win money for no reason. Took a long time to get my dad to understand that.

I am "Lorna Sloan" and this was the hacking on FB that I mentioned....check as you may now have 2 of me....Unfriend the new one...THAT FRIEND REQUEST IS BOGUS AND I HAVE LOCK THEM OUT BY CHANGING MY PASSWORD AND FB TURN OFF THEIR ACCESS....turning them off was an option via FB when I changed the password...by clicking "log off all other computers, devices, etc. bars the bogus one...". FYI No $30,000 check and I have never heard of Steve Burkner....BIG TIME SCAM !!!!!

I'm done with this and with venting now.... Almost makes me want to quit the internet all together....It ticks me off....and I feel violated....

This storm is getting really bad here. Tons of power outages around here due to the heavy snow breaking tree limbs onto power lines. The storm is just spinning in a circle right over the Twin Cities. A foot+ of snow here by morning. Most of the highways to the west and south have been shut down due to the blizzard conditions. 50+ mph winds.
After the storm ends, the temps will drop drastically again. All the wet snow is going to turn to ice. That will be fun!

I better get to bed soon since I have to open the shop in the morning and will have to get up early to get my Jeep cleaned off. Probably the worst winter to not have a garage! Grrrrr!

Mitch, We're not too happy about being here and most of the state would probably leave but we can't find the highways. Winds are terrible today. I plan on being a snowbird next winter.
