Have missed y'all--trying to keep up with at least reading, but that seems to be tough for me Anita, glad Leroy is okay! Such a scare! & Catherine, I'll have to get the kids info so I can gtg with them while I'm out here. Sarah, wish there were better news about your niece...

Moved up the coast a bit, from O'side to Irvine. Now with my 95yo aunt/godmother & my cousin who had foot surgery--she's to be off it for up to 3 mos! So, again I feel so useful! They both love the poopers, so pups & I are camped out in her den for the nights (kinda miss my HarBor though). Ape & Pipe love sleeping with Cousin on her king size tempur-pedic all day--such a life!

Hmmm, can't remember who's in LA??? Thanks for the invite! Send PM & will see if we can gtg!

Good Morning.

Yesterday's x-rays show the pneumonia is almost gone; niece is still holding her own but such a long way to go. Hope to get more info from doctor this afternoon but it does look like she has turned the corner on at least one problem so good news there. Thank you again for keeping her in your prayers.

I'm feeling a bit like cold trying to start, will stop for some Zycam at store when I go back out.

iPad acting up this morning and I cannot figure out why it will not connect to Internet; shows strong signal to house router but just spins instead of connecting. Any suggestions?

Well, this is a first. Can’t believe I’m opening up morning coffee and my pot is about empty. Sorry folks, you snooze… you lose!
Been pretty uneventful around here…except for the high winds. I’ve been laying low the last couple of days because I thought I might be getting the flu. Kept taking decongestants and using my nebulizer and I’m feeling right fine today. Several of my workers were quarantined to their cells this past week because of H1N1 and I was praying I didn’t get it. I did have the flu shot but I’ve also gotten the flu two times after I have had one.
Finally decided on a camera. Bought a Canon SX280. I think it will be great when I finally learn how to run it! The zoom is great and Radar is starting to hide every time I get it out to practice with it. So this morning I resorted to the lamp and end table to try out the different settings. I am a little disgusted that I didn’t receive a full manual with it. Have to go on line and download it….that BS to me…it was the same darn thing with my phone and computer. I don’t have my computer with me all the time when I want to figure something out on my camera or phone. It seems that the best times for me to learn how run these gadgets is when I’m sitting in a booth at trade shows or the motel room in the evening, camping or on a road trip when I’m not the driver. If I run off the manual I’ll have 187 pages that won’t fit in the camera case. My old brain doesn’t retain that much information! So that’s my b**** for today.

Good Morning! I got to sleep in until 8:30!! Woke to the electricity being off Fired off the generator for my coffee. LeRoy was already here about 9 reading instructions for things that go on the truck and camper. He is now ready to get started so guess I better quit dilly dallying because I want to be a part of the installation. Obviously, he is doing just fine - thank heavens.

I need to get everything out of the camper that goes into the truck so I can move in here!

Sarah, continued prayers for your niece. To all of you, I have been reading and thinking of you just not a lot of commenting. Way behind with all the blogs tho.

Went to church this morning... such a good service...
Glad there is a stabilization for your niece Sarah, and so glad LeRoy is up and chipper this morning... anyone else that is down I hope things look up soon...
