Good morning, ladies!

All I can offer you here is coffee and high-fiber chocolate cereal with almond milk (yum, right? :D ).
Oh, and some steel-cut oats. Now that really is a YUM!

It's still dark outside, but I can tell it's going to be a fantastic day to start the week.

The Pest and I are off on a bunch of errands today.
And that about sums up the news from our neck of the woods.

Travel safe and be happy.

Good morning Mitch & everyone!

Mitch, I hope you & Vickie have a good day taking care of your errands and lots of fun, too!

It's very mild in MD this morning. It's 72 right now but we have a cold front headed this way later this afternoon.

After I get a workout in, I'll spend the rest of the day at Dad's house. Once he has his dinner and is in his PJ's, the person working the night shift will relieve me and I can go home.

Attended the Park's "pot luck" Sunday dinner yesterday....great food and company....they do this every Sunday....

We also have errands to run today....once I'm awake... ;) and the rain that was suppose to be here yesterday, is coming today, sometime....

Okay, got to get some more coffee and catch up with the news here...

Sounds like a caregiver kind of day. The ex is hopefully finished today with his IV therapy. At hospital now, then to Coumidin clinic, the heart failure clinic, the infectious disease doctor, another visit to potential ALF, the VA office about his benefits and then home. I am worn out and Maggie misses me.

It is 50 here this morning and not supposed to get out of the sixties. Looks to be a beautiful week though warming into the seventies the rest of the week.
Mitch, sure glad to hear you are feeling like doing errands with Vickie. I'll be having unsweetened vanilla Almond milk in a bit mixed in my Nutri Bullet with grapes, blueberries, cashews and a little bit of greens, i"m going to be more careful with it this morning, Saturday I headed out with my smoothie in hand, locked the door while juggling Toby's leash, uncovered drink and purse. I looked down and I had spilled it all over Toby. He was looking up at me with the strangest expression. I wiped him off a bit and off we went. He did get a bath later though, good thing he isn't white those blueberries might have left a blue tint. :D
I went to a flea market with a friend yesterday and we had a good time, I found some small Corning Ware baking dishes in the Blue Cornflower pattern that I like really cheap. Glad nothing bigger or more expensive caught my eye! My friend had just returned from a meditation retreat in MS and since all motels had been booked for months she camped out for 6 nights. Sounded like fire ants were a bit of a distraction to the concentration but on the whole she enjoyed it very much.
Hope everyone has a good day.

I just took Toby for a walk and we had a stand-off with a deer and her baby. Toby said he didn't really feel like barking and as I watched the mama deer paw the road with her front foot I decided to turn around! Gees this was after 8AM & I have to give way to the wildlife! :o

Another slow day here in the woods. Nothing to report, just waiting for my step motor.

Mitch, waiting anxiously for your doctors report today and what your treatments (if any) are gonna be. Praying for no treatments and a cancer free report!

Take care all!

Mitch, you sound so wonderfully optimistic today! That is great to hear!

Sunny and warmer today. Been on the phone all morning with nurses and speech therapists, etc regarding my dad. Am meeting the speech therapist at my dad's tomorrow. They feel he isn't getting enough care he needs, being at home, but he insists he is doing OK.

Getting ready for work...
Have a great Monday!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
