Hello Ladies, it's still morning, but I've been up so long feels like it should be near the end of the day !! Liz, left early morning, on her way to more adventures. We had a nice holiday together. Now I'm waiting for call that the parts are in to get my awning fixed. Think most of you know about that episode. I will add at the time I was hanging onto the one side in hopes of keeping the hardware and awning from flopping over the top to my skylights etc and making more damage , I was glad of the weight I am still carrying LOL !!! See always some good in all bad happenings LOL.

Lori, Been there, you go girl you can do it !!!!! It's hard but set your mind to it and the strong person you are , you will definitely get err done !!!! Hugs and sending loads of support from here !!!!

Maggie and I, have enjoyed setting outside this morning, our new site is right on water but I'm backed in and awning IS TAPED !!!! Have a load of laundry going so luckily. For you all , this won't be all that long

Nice outside so back out we go,
Have a good day all and those traveling stay safe,
CArol :)

Morning from rainy Maryland. Weather channel said it would quit by 8:15 am...and it didn't! Haha.

Spent yesterday trading in my jeep for a smaller, lighter weight tow vehicle. I bought a new Honda fit. So far I love it. Big change from the jeep though! I thought I had done due diligence...checking the fmca towables guide, etc. I get it home and read the owners manual section on towing...it says not to tow it behind your rv???? I did find a PDF file that gives the instructions on towing a fit though, aNd am hopeful that it will work, but want to find out for sure before I spend the money on getting the base plate installed on it. In my life, always something!

Moka pup is doing good...still working on housebreaking...but she's young yet. And I'm old. Yesterday she found the cats toy box and thought she had hit pay dirt! She was so excited...played with one toy, put it back and got another one out! Now she drags them all out and doesn't put any of them away.

Lori, congrats on quitting! There is a web site, if you are interested that has a helpful PDF file. It's called freedom from nicotine. The web site is why quit.com...no space! Just remember...one day at a time.

Glad to hear everyone is doing well, getting over colds, weathering the weather, etc.

Gt nothing done yesterday, so guess I'd better attempt to get things straightened up today. Now add muddy puppy prints. Fun!

Good Morning all, I'm just under the wire as it will be noon soon here. Lots of wind and sun today, keep thinking it is going to blow in rain which we could use but nothing yet.
Lori, I know it will be hard but keep thinking about how much better you will feel once you have quit. If you had a good skype connection and wanted to I could do hypnosis for you. It works well for some to quit and it has no side effects :) Anyone else who might want to try it just let me know I'd be happy to work with you for smoking, weight loss or migraines actually it helps with many issues.
Hope everyone has a good day.

I can vouch that hypnosis can work to quit smoking...it worked for me (I quit for 6 years and then my mother died. That was my excuse to start up again).

But I'm done for good now. Whew. Sure wish to heck I'd never put that first stick in my mouth.

Irmi---there you are! Where on earth have you been lately? We miss you on here!

Good luck, Lori, with the smoking quitting. My last drag was the stroke of midnight when the ball fell on New Year's Eve 2000, and I have actually never had the inclination to ever puff again. I have no clue why, but so it is, and, as my mother died of smoking-related cancers all over, I am very happy about it.

Kathleen, when will you be moving, do you know yet? I don't envy you your whittling down all those treasures you've collected over the years!

I spent the day tracking down trailer parts----TV antenna cranks, sewer covers, extension cords for when I get back home, and a camping chair for Orion------and looking into some new trailers at Camping World in Kissimmee. Then I paid some more bills, went to Lowes for a strap wrench to help me turn the PVC sewer pipe I am attached to at my son's house, took the dogs for a couple of walks in the oppressive heat, packed some more clothes and doodads that I will need to haul home with me.

Hope you find your Honda Fit is towable, Paulette.

Ava will out on the road again soon, hopefully, but not as a school bus driver, eh?

Carol whatever happened to your awning sounds a lot like what happened to mine on my old trailer years ago. Tape is a good thing!

Time to do one more laundry, take one last hot bath, and think about packing the truck to head back to St. Cloud tomorrow after I sign with FedEx for the new temp license plate Ford is sending me overnight tonight. I probably won't be back here again now until next Fall, but who knows? I may forget something I HAVE to have, and drive back here on Saturday morning!

Have a nice night y'all!
