Good Morning, Ladies, Think we're all waiting for someone else to serve the coffee this morning. Sorry, its all gone here, tried some new coffee this morning, wasn't any good , so you wouldn't have enjoyed it. :D I think I might have made it to strong, will try one more weaker pot of it.

I'm loading up and heading out of here Sunday morning, early. Time to move and take a break from everything here. It will all wait for me, darn it

Well, no time to set here, need to do quite a bit before rain gets here. Just thought it sad, that no one is up yet. Hope you all are well and things are happening in your life on the fun side. If not, you need to plan something :D

Have a great day, smile it will make you happier and maybe make someone else's day for them.
Those on the road, stay safe,
CArol :)

Good morning. We are starting to have more normal summer weather. They say that going through the month of May without a day in the 90s hasn't happened in over 20 yrs. Fine with me :P Suppose to get to the 80s this afternoon. I'm off to my trap shooting lesson. Gonna see how my neck and shoulder does  Then a nice long massage. :P

We saw the 3D IMAX version of Star Trek yesterday. 2 thumbs up. Really fun and I'm not a "Trekkie". Everyone have a fantastic Friday and stay safe. Aloha, y'all

Slept in this morning which I haven't done in awhile so I must have needed the extra sleep! Yesterday was pretty stressful but mostly in a good way.

Went to see my daughter, Naomi, in the afternoon. We met at a restaurant which worked out good. Before we had always met at an indoor park but Naomi had really outgrown that. I had a very nice conversation with her parents and Naomi is growing up to be such a pretty young lady now!! She told me about their recent vacation to Hawaii for her birthday, and all about her pets and horseback riding lessons. I had been told she was in dance class but didn't realize until yesterday that it was ballet class and she is very good! She has trophies, etc from her competitions, and they showed me some professional photos of her in different poses, and she is amazing!! They said they will send me copies of the photos so I will share those when I get them. She loved the horse book I got her. It is true story about a horse that was in a wild herd in Nevada and was trained by the world famous "horse whisperer", Monty Roberts. He has his farm and training center in Solvang, CA and I got to see it when I was in Santa Barbara on my 50th Birthday. I took photos of that horse while I was there, and gave her copies of the pics I took to go with the book. The book is written for young adults and is written from the horse's perspective. She was so excited! And her parents want to read it too. So, it was a very great visit! Too bad I now have to wait another year for the next one :(

My dad got settled into the nursing home yesterday and I stopped to visit him last night. He was a little grumpy and confused yet but not doing too bad. I had stopped at his house earlier to pick up some things for him and I also found his health care directive and his will, which we couldn't find earlier.

Today, I work and then I have tomorrow off. Desperately need to get my place cleaned up! Haven't had time for that lately. Now that I am walking distance to my dad, that will save time and gas for me now.

We were supposed to have thunderstorms overnight but never happened, but expecting some over the next few days now. Good time to get things done inside.

Have a good day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
