Sunshine Sunday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunshine Sunday

A Sunny Good Morning all,

Boy, everybody must either be sleeping in or really busy this morning. It's past 9:30 here and nobody's put the coffe on yet. Well, I have a pot brewing for anybody who wants some. Don't drink it myself, but help yourself to it.

Beautiful sunny morning here in Northern Michigan today. Rain is supposed to be moving in later this afternoon, but it will be most welcome after a week or cold, rain/snow, sleet, freezing rain etc. Even closed schools on Friday. So now I have about 4 to 6 inches of snow out there and it's going to stay there. No more blowing. Too heavy anyway. Will melt by itself. Needless to say, although this is normal for here this time of year, everybody's getting weary of it. We want some nice spring weather.

Nothing much on my agenda today. Heading to town to pick up Sunday paper and also some paint chips from Home Depot. Painted my other bathroom this week, but don't like how it looks, so am going to repaint. First time i have done that in a long time.

Carolb, you sure are having a wonderful time traveling back home and stopping to visit along the way. I"m enjoying your travels. And Dawn sounds like she is enjoying her hosting duties too. Carol, glad you are making progress on your house and hopefully you can get in on the market this spring yet. I'm contemplating it, but market prices are still low here and too much of a loss to take right now.

Ava, keep hanging in there. Retirement will be here before long. Looking at how many months you have left, the nice thing about it, is that pretty soon it will be summer break time and you won't have that many months left after that :D

RV hunt is sidelinded due to weather. Hopefully before long.

Time to be off and get this day rolling here. Everyone have a wonderful day.

Good morning Sue and all who follow...

Rain, sleet and high winds all night and this morning. This weather is making everyone crabby here. No end in sight either, as we are supposed to get another snowstorm on Wednesday. There are some geese around here and I felt bad for them with nothing to eat so I bought some cracked corn yesterday and put some out for them.

I put Chelsea with the other ferret, Cocoa, that I am taking care of. He likes her a lot! Too much, in fact. He was pinning her down and mounting her! So I guess I will have to keep them apart since she wasn't any too happy about that behavior (they are both fixed tho).

Cocoa's owner is coming by today to see him. I bought a hammock and some toys for him yesterday. He sure has a lot of energy! Very sweet boy tho (ferret, not owner, altho he is a nice guy too).

Other than that, will be cleaning house and watching the Master's Golf tournament. Tomorrow night is my golf league meeting and we start playing in 3 weeks (I hope!).

Have a good one!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

The animals were ridiculous this morning. William wanted to get up so bad that he snuck out through the bathroom. Did he have to go outdoors? No, he had to check Max the Cat's food dish. Then, while I was staggering around trying to find my shoes, guess who streaked into my room? Yes, it was Max. Checking Wm's food dish.

It's a pity it would be unhealthy to let them swap food, when they both want to so much. Poor boys! Laughing at them was a good way for me to wake up, though. ;)

good morning ladies
relaxing today and watching tv, although I am going to the car wash and get the mud washed off the car, then the
grocery store and I'll be done. The rest of the afternoon I'll sit in front of "old" time tv and watch shows like Bonanza,
Wagon Train and Rifleman.
Its 67* right now and suppose to get up to 87, will probably turn on the cooler later on.
Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

Good morning everyone. Today is a good day for animal antics. It is a beautiful day, so working outside. DH and I are out in the front working on the 2 classic cars. One has a flat tire and dead battery and the other needed a new valve for the brake fluid. Also doing stuff with RED as well. Tyler was out in the back 40 when I started Sally (66 Mustang). I get out of Sally to let the engine run before I take her for a test run to see how the brakes are doing. Tyler comes running and leaps up the stairs of RED and immediately curls up on his bed next to his window, looking at me, "OK, Did ya think you were going to leave without me?" He stayed there at least an hour before looking to see where I was

I really feel bad for all of you trapped with the never ending winter. Stay warm, stay safe. Those traveling stay safe as well. Aloha

Now we are having an ice storm! After going back and forth between rain, sleet and snow all day, now the trees outside my window are all coated with ice. Just a nasty day! Got my space heater/fire place going full blast to take the chill off in here.

Cocoa's owner came over and we talked for over 2 hours. I gave him some lessons on ferret care, handling, illnesses, etc. He was very happy to see his ferret and know he is happy and being well cared for.

Now just watching the end of the Masters tournament. Doesn't look like Tiger will pull out a win tho.
