Foggy Friday...

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Good morning gals! It is warm and foggy here too. Yesterday afternoon and evening it rained hard and melted a lot of the snow. A cold front is coming on Sunday tho with highs in the single digits and more snow. It IS the middle of January!

Got my final check from Great Clips and they deducted $150 for health insurance I never got. So I need to get that straightened out ASAP!

I am anxious to hear all about the AZ and FL GTG's! Sure wish I could have made the FL GTG, but maybe next year...

There is an RV/Camping show here in Minneapolis the first week of Feb, and I am going to try to get there. Have never been to one so it should be fun!

Have a great day and safe travels!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Not only did I sleep well last night, but I slept in until 11:00 am! Usually I am up and down all night and often am up for more than an hour in the middle of the night, so this was wonderful, and without a sleeping pill. I admit I did not get to bed until slightly after midnight because I was watchng the musical Memphis on a DVD I got for Christmas. Good music and dancing.

I have been really worn out lately. I have been very happy to have two old friends vacationing in the area, so we have had a couple of dinners together, and I have been busy shopping and sightseeing on my own. Also, yesterday I spent a few hours at the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary with an aunt and uncle who have a condo in Venice, Florida. They had never been there and drove down to see me and walk around the sanctuary. Not very many birds because the water is so low, and we saw only two very young alligators.

Today is a rest day when I catch up on my brand-new class for the winter semester. Got to figure out some things with the new software the college is using--had trouble last night. I have posted everything, but can't figure out how to grade stuff, which is kind of important, to say the least!! Also, need to follow my department head's graduate class which I will be teaching in the spring semester. Need to figure out where I can get her to mail a textbook for me to look at, so lots to do today, but at least I will be in my wonderful recliner while I do it all!!

While I was out west, I got into a routine where I did some sightseeing or shopping one day and rested at home the next while I worked on my class. As I get older, I really need this kind of slowing down. So this will be a resting day and a cooking day as I want to make some chicken and rice for dinner and freeze for later in the week.

Judy - have you looked to see if the textbook is available as an e-book? I used Course Smart, Amazon and whatever it is that McGraw-Hill moved to.
