Done. Four of them. What a great group.

Hit freezing here overnight. Brrrr. Am still under the covers hoping it'll be above when we go walking.

Good Morning to All - We are on the beach in Aticama, MX - drove down from Mazatlan yesterday. Went out to dinner last night with our friends John and Carol and George - of Ms Tioga After dinner we watched some of the celebrations for the Virgin of Guadualupe - continues tonight - Will remember to take my camera tonight.
Posted a blog about the drive down here - Bill is finally speaking to me again and even cooking me breakfast. http://lifeinbrowncounty.blogspot.com today will just be a recoup from yesterday.
Internet here is very iffy unless I want to go to the restaurant - to lazy to do that unless I get desperate.
Have a wonderful day every one.

Good Morning !!! When I started reading the morning post there were 4, when I had finished the 4th and was going to decide which post I would add to, there was only one :D Ms Beth, was so on the ball this morning I did not have a decision to make :) I'm so bad on decisions and take forever to make a choice, Thank you, thank you. Makes for a Great start to my day this morning in spite of gloomy outside, no decision to make

I must tell you all, if you live in an area that needs rain, set up an app. for my rig to get washed and waxed and half way thru the job it will pour !!!!!! The wax job is what I needed so badly, so am disappointed, but hopeful it is a better job then I expect it is. For those who don't know my rig is Black (main color), so wax job needs to be good . Living in a rural area hard to find someone to do this job, so 1st time to be waxed and supposed to be done twice a yr. I'm bad  :(

Instead of gabbing on here I should be cleaning, but had one more cup of coffee to drink after our walk and I haven't been on in a few days. I'm trying to keep up but even having the IPad it's hard , so many things to do and with Liz having her neat little car we've been here and there  Having a great visit, for Sarah, loosing card game here too !!!!!

Weather has seemed so nice to me, so greatful to have the opportunity to be in the south, those of you north come on down there is still room !!!

Coffee's gone !!! Have a Great Day everyone, those traveling stay safe, be careful on those wet roads. Whatever and wherever you are enjoy Your day!!

GOOD MORNING TO ALL!

I am back in Orlando in my house, waiting to see what the weather will do today after quite the unsettling day yesterday! We got some rain here, but none of that horrid wind like they got north of here and out on the coast. They are now thinking a tornado touched down, even, as so many buildings are no longer habitable today. We lucked out in this area, and I am hoping the same will happen today, if anybody has to experience wrathful wind.

I suppose I should take my pups for a walk this morning before the weather changes this afternoon. The fog is llifting, the sun is actually showing itself now, and it's very warm out there----very Florida-like weather!

Still no news about my skin biopsies, although I got an email that told me how to log on to see them when/IF they ever show up! I would like to get these lesions taken care of before Christmas, but it doesn't appear that will happen. Sigh.

Coffee is hot, so sit a spell and let us know what's going on in your neck of the woods. I'm off to get dressed for a walk around Shingle Creek.
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

Good late morning everyone. I didn't get up early, well I consider before six early but I didn't sleep well, my eyes popped wide open as soon as I hit the pillow. I'm having my third breakfast course and resting now. The sun is out and I could see all the dust that I had been ignoring those cloudy days so been busy with the vacuum. Always a happy day for the dogs as they love the vacuum, all except Toby who looks at the Winnie and Andy like they are crazy for attacking that noisy thing.
I hope the storms are over Soos, and glad the winds missed you yesterday. CArol I hope your wax job is ok, I had mine done a couple of weeks ago and it looks like new. They told me too it needed it twice a year but it was pretty expensive. It's at the repair shop now getting a list that keeps getting longer fixed.
I keep pretending Christmas is still a loooong way off, guess I had better get a reality check! Can you tell I am not a fan of Christmas ;) I had to ask my niece what fluffing the tree meant, had never heard that expression before. Guess because my Christmas tree is a little ceramic one from the 50's or 60's that comes complete with plastic Cardinals that light up, all I have to do is plug it in. I wish more restaurants were open on Christmas, here the only thing open is Chinese
Enjoy the day!

Chilly chilly here, too, but supposed to be up to 72 today. It's our last warm day for a couple of weeks or longer. Rain being called for tomorrow. Not much else going on here, Miss Chewy has a vet appt. this morning so I need to get moving. She's all excited to be going "for a ride", wait til she sees where we're going. I'll be the one in the dog house for the rest of the day!

BJ, put something in the crockpot and bake a Mrs. Smiths pie for Christmas dinner. I would invite you over but I'm not cooking either....my daughter is doing the honors.

Hope everyone has a super day and stays warm!!

Hey, Redetotry, will your Chinese restaurant serve anything special on Christmas? Maybe Peking Duck? That would be fun! You might have to ask them a few days in advance.

We're actually going out for Christmas dinner this year, since most of the kids will be elsewhere on Christmas Day. Only six of us, but it will be fun. Weiner schnitzel!! :D

thought I'd pop in and say hello as I have a good 20 minutes before the next pick up of little ones. Preschoolers only do a half day and kindergarden does a full day. I will say yestedays thread was a hot one for sure and I might add, not to worry about
me going anywhere as I never even got an invite. WomenRv is the most awesome forum and I really enjoy the comradery
(not sure if thats spell right but spell check seems to be ok with it). This year has been especially wonderful as so many of
the girls are coming through here this year. Its just so much fun, and yes, Beth and I had a great time at the Queen Creek
Olive Mill. It was very interesting and of course the wine tasting was a wee bit fun too.
It certainly was COLD last night, and STILL is unless I'm in the sun. I actually had to let my heater run all night as I certainly
don't want to come down with a cold and be sick during my two weeks off. But I left the heater on low just to keep the
chill off the room. Certainly made the dogs happy.
Getting this submitted and off to check a few more posts. Catch ya'll later this evening.

I woke up about 5:00 to go to the bathroom and couldn't go back to sleep for a while. Watched the news for a while and when I woke up again it was 10:00. That doesn't happen often. The coldest temperature I saw last night was 42. We are very close to Vermilion Bay and it seldom gets as cold here as predicted. My DH says we only got 1/2 inch of rain yesterday when the storms came through. I thought it would be more. It was really raining and thundering for a couple of hours. I think there was a tornado somewhere but don't remember where.

It's been about 2 weeks since I decided to quit eating chocolate to see if it was causing my headaches. I have been mostly headache free but it sucks to have to decide do I want chocolate and a headache or no chocolate and no headache. I didn't think I liked chocolate that much but now I think it is waving to me every time I see some. ;)

I don't worry much about Christmas shopping except for my grandson. Just about everyone else can wait until after Christmas. I do need to get my friend something. I usually just get something for the whole family. Paulette reminded me of Harry & David. I will have to check out their web site. BJ reminded me of my ceramic tree that a friend made for me 25 years ago. All the ones I could find were green and I wanted a white one so a friend made me one. I will have to go see if I can find it. My stuff is so scattered. It was at the trailer but my son moved all my stuff to the old house so it must be in there somewhere. I don't think any restaurants are open for Christmas in Abbeville but the Cracker Barrel and Golden Corral will be open for Christmas in Lafayette. I still don't know if I'm going to Florida with my son or not. I hate trips like that. His ex-wife is a dingbat. If she isn't talking to her sister they won't be going to Florida for us to go meet them. My DH says my son thinks he's still a Sargent and just takes charge of things. I don't take orders very well.

My DH wants me to help him clean the cat food container at the barn. I need to go clean it while he's not around so he doesn't help me. Having him help is like losing 3 good men.

Hi ladies!

It's way past noon here on the east coast, but I've been at my parents house since yesterday morning and just got home a little while ago. They enjoy the home cooked meals prepared for them and they have plenty of leftovers for several more meals. I'll go back again same time next week to cook some more. That will be my last overnight trip since we'll be leaving for Florida the day after Christmas. I'm anxious to get in the motorhome to check my clothes for the winter and prepare for heading south. Because of the icky weather we've been having here, the wash and wax will wait until we get to Ocala.

Martha, I saw on the news this morning that the tornado was in Baton Rouge. Is anyone here from that area? I can't imagine not being able to have chocolate. Just gotta have some every now and then.

I've been making batches of Chex Mix and I add a handful of M&M's to each batch. I love the combination of the sweet & saltiness.

Have a good day everyone!
