Sharon, good for you going to give them what for. You have the same set-up as I do and my cord charges the battery in my toad like it is supposed to. I have never had a dead battery. I often drive with my headlights on in the MH and didnt think it would affect my toad? hmmmmmmm
Glad you made it home safe and sound, even if it was a long trying drive. I really dont like to drive in the dark OR in the wind. I can usually avoid the dark, but the wind is another story.

Karen - I don't like to drive at night and I really do not like driving my high profile Class A (similar to Sharon's Hope) in the wind. YIKES
