Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunday

Good morning! Y'all taking advantage of that extra hr of sleep this morning?? I woke at my normal time, & yes that was now at 3 a.m. Will get that extra hr of sleep in bits & pieces as the week goes on. Isn't that the best part of retirement--no sched to keep?!!!! On my third cp of coffee, waiting for anyone to join me??...Yikes, sorry to hear abot Echo. I do KNOW what it's like to get "dissed" on-line! Definitely why I shy away from most all social media sites--this one excepted! I identify with her need to retreat for a while. Hope it's not too long, Echo! Can't imagine any of these ladies intentionally creating grief for ya  Soos, happy & safe travels as ya set off this a.m.! A bitter-sweet parting from the fam, eh? Thank goodness for all this new technology to keep ya close to the little one no matter how far away... I was online for 4 hrs yesterday morn! Reading many past/present posts on varios sbjects! Great pix of TX GTG--FOOD! & the hilarios posts on the FL GTG link. OMG, really can't wait to get to my first! ...Se (Colliemom), yo've prompted me to get my key fixed the next chance I have (when I'm in the "big" city of tica). I'm sre yo & many others nderstand my commnication withot a yew, bt some words jst don't ct it withot it--yor name for instance! :( & if I were to mention my sibling whom we call "Btch," I'd not be assred that yo wold know it's trly NOT an "i" that I left ot! Also, sorry to admit, I'm a border-line langage snob, & it's driving me nts to have to se dashes or fonetic (that's a "phor ph-n p-n") spellings! Do any of yo nderstand that thoght process?  Y'all have a great day! TX GTGers, make it the best! Love the pix!!!!! Blessings to all!

Good morning all. How do you explain to a dog daylight savings time? So I'm up walking Tyler. It's still kinda dark, but OMG, the stars. Orion and Canis Major shining bright over head. Just inhale the beauty of nature. My posts are short cuz I'm doing it all from my phone. It is easier to post a pic than type. :P everyone have a great day and be safe. Aloha, y'all

Ha ha, Red. I know just what you mean. Sassy woke me up at 5:30 a.m., which acccording to her internal clock was still 6:30 a.m. and time for her maorning pill  So got up and got out the cheese and the pill and while I was giving her's, Tessa came wanddering in as it was also tme for hers. So got both dogs medicated and out the door. Was going to leave them out for awhile and go back to bed which I did, but after a few minutes, decided to heck with it and got up. So will be dragging all day probably cause I stayed up till midnight (daylight time) watchng a movie on the Hallmark Channel and then went to bed, which of course was 11:00 (standard time) cause I set my clock back. Now do I have you all confused

Carold, love your take on getting the "u" fixed. Hey, it's been fun reading and figuring out what that word is. But in all seriousness, I can agree with you. Some words just can't be done without that "u". Heck, I just ran off a few right now. Once you get it fixed, you will probaly forget how to spell with it

Hoping Soos has a great trip south this year and good weather to drive in. She's got her friend along with her this trip, so should be good for company and companionship. Travel safe you two.

Gee, there's a neat looking 22ft Class C MH sitting down here at the dealers. 2002 Shasta with just a bit over 36,000 on it. Asking $24,500 right now. But I'm not ready and I also need to look around more. I have no plans to RV this next year unless something drops into my lap that I really want and can afford. Still getting the finances shaped up here and wanted to wait another year maybe. With the lease on the Flex, I don't want to take on any more payments right now. So I will travel and camp though all of you ladies out there and sit and dream.

Two furry bodies laying here, snoozing away. Am so tempted to get down on the floor and join them, but am going to go get dressed and head off to church. Hopefully Father's sermon won't be borng so I can stay awake  Otherwise not much on my agenda today. Spent a bit over 3 hours blowing leaves at a neighbors yesterday, so think today will be a day off. Next door neighbors yard could use it too, maybe later this week. Let's me be outside minkeying aruond as long as I can before winter really sets in.

Still contemplating heading Up North to the U.P. again next month. This time for 4 weeks. Would just put the house here into a sitting mode for that time, have neighbor brind in what little mail there is anymore as I have my bills on ebilling etc. Haul along the little Christmas tree that I am still searching for and spend the holidays up there. Might be a good chance to see how things go so if I want to leave in the winter to go to a future GTG or something, I will have done it befoe and know how it will work out. But then I think of the expense again and wonder if I want to do it. But on the other hand, we can't take it with us and who knows how long I might have good health. I say I want to travel out West in a year and a half or so, but how do I know that will get off the ground either. My friend who went north with me for Thanksgiving is in the same boat. She wants to go to fL to visit with a friend for a little while maybe around the holidays, but at the same time wants to go to Ireland/Scotland next year and which way to go with the money has her kind of undecided as well. Isn't life exciting sometimes

Well, time to get moving around here. You all have a nice day today. Keep safe those on the road.

Red, the dogs and I were all up at our "normal" time this morning. That was just before 5:00 now on the time change. Didn't take them out until 6, so this morning the sun was coming up. Normally it is still dark when we get out for the first time of the day. You and Tyler are so quiet. I was hoping mine would stay quiet because it was still dark in Karen's rig and didn't want to wake her up.

Need to make my cigarettes and then the glaze for the Cinnabon Cake. See ya at breakfast.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day and if you are traveling, stay safe.

Good Morning to All - one thing about beeing in Arizona the time change doesn't make any difference.
Didn't do much yesterday - did get my new watch battery so I can again tell time. Also bought another bottle of chocolate wine to take with us.
Not much on the agenda for today - watch the race around noon - maybe go out to dinner.
We're just in a kind of holding pattern now - Making sure everything is ready for the border crossing. Paper work etc.
Soos drive carefully south.
I guess i'm dense or something - I've been wondering about Echo - did something happen to her? Sure hope not.
Travel safe ifyour on the road and have a wonderful day where ever you are.

good morning ladies
don't get confused there Mitch, some people do make their own cigarettes, its cheaper. My son makes his own. Some folks just roll them up in little
papers and they look like joints  then theres the little machine that puts the tobacco in a tube with a filter on it.
Got the car thing all figured out yesterday, new spark plugs, air filter and pcv valve and also cleaned the maf sensor (that was a new one on me, had
to learn about that ) but much cheaper to clean than to replace ($78). Will drive later on in the day to see if the check engine light is still on. Next
on the agenda is to open the back of the washer and check the belt, research tells me that could be the problem with it not cycling and spinning
out properly. One thing at a time cause thats the way my brain works.
The girls are fed and gone back to bed already and I'm about ready to run my bath and soak awhile. Will style my hair and do the "get ready for the
new week" routine. After that I'll watch a good movie and relax.
Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

GOOD EVENING TO ALL

We are all hunkered down in the Flying J parking lot at New Milford, PA tonight. We ate some supper at Denny's have the propane furnace on now to stay warm...they said it was to get down to 26! Whew! A nice couple of guys pulled their rigs ahead a bit to make room for us out here on the fringes near the grass----my favorite spot as no one can park next to us on either side. The dogs have been fed, we have been fed, we are warm, I guess we are going to bed. I hope to get out of here by daylight...unlike the late start we got this morning.

Hope you all had a good day doing something fun! And I sure do hope it gets warmer soon!
