Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Thursday November 1

G'morning all--especially a good one for Red! So happy to hear the test came back negative! TX GTG, beware! Certainly there'll be some celebrating & happy dancing for that!!!! :P Wow, after I wrote yesterday--as it became daylight--I saw the news pix of the devastation on the east coast. Soooo sad; I had no idea is was that bad, & now seeing more pix--well, more prayers are needed for those people. ... Halloween--I sat at my door last evening for the 5-7 p.m. designated time & had only ONE trickster come by at 5:30! That was it! Hmm, a sign that the tradition is over in this neighborhood??? Ok, I'll have to accept that :( I'm home this morning, so will get my HarBor to the sewage plant to empty his tanks. Then he gets a long rest til Jan. I'm feeling so antsy to not be going anywhere--he's really changed my life! Maybe next fall/winter, I'll qwit this s-bbing bizness & spend more time on the road!...Off for more coffee--smoothie for breakfast, anyone???? Y'all have a terrific day! Be safe wherever ya are, & TX GTGers--"what happens in TX doesn't stay in TX"! Send pix!!!!

Good morning all!! Of all the mornings to sleep in!? Tyler let me sleep til 7 ! Normally that's a good thing, however I need to get the last things ready to go to the TX gtg. It'll take about 4 hrs to get to the cg. So I want to hit the road soon. Except DH's computer crashed last night and he'll be futzing with it till who knows when!! Got my fingers crossed its something minor. I would like to get there before dusk!!

We did not have any kids either. But we are rural and all the houses are spread far apart. DH says he's never had kids come in this area. They like to go to more target rich environments

Off to packing up and hooking up. Will catch a bite somewhere along the line. Everyone have a great day and satay safe? Aloha y'all

HAPPY NOVEMBER TO ALL!

I was still awake at midnight last night, so, as soon as the clock turned to Novemver 1st, I remembered to shout RABBITS! I hope this will bring me good luck all month long, as my grandmother told me it would!

We cut our pumpkins last night, and they came out looking wonderful....I took pics of them all, but need to download them to my old computer which has a program that will allow me to choose which pics from my SD card I wish to download. Then it also allows me to size them to make them takke up less room on my hard drive. This new laptop has no options like that, at least not that I can find. I will try to copy that program from the old computer to this new one. Stay tuned for some pics later, possibly, if I can stay logged in long enough to post them!

Cool today at 43 degrees, no wind, overcast. Not a bad day so far. Time is running out for me to be here as we are hoping to haul out of here on Sunday morning. Hope you all have a good first day of November. November?? Lordy, where did this year go anyway?!

Morning Carolb, Red, Lori and everyone to follow.

Soos, I forgot about Rabbits!

Having a great time at the TX GTG but cannot post pics yet. Have to go get a new tower today somewhere. Paul will take hard drive from this one and add it to new one so all my data stays. Red tell hubby I'm right there with him. Still have iPad and iPhone, but have to have computer too! I really need to get back to work. I have not touched my websites since May. If I am not working, I don't get any income!

This is awful, but I still am not sure who everyone is here. I learn to put a few new faces with names every day. I am not the best at names in a large group. Thank you Colleen for the name tags. that is really helping me. We've got a big group and having lots of fun! Cannot wait for Red and Maggie to get here today too. I loved the pot luck last night. So much good food.

I am going to drink my coffee and catch up on my reading here. Everyone have a good day and it you are traveling, stay safe.

Good Morning

Got home from Canada yesterday. DANG it was cold and snowy up there. Was warm in the house tho, so that was the important thing. Also had a good visit with my favorite cousin and her hubby. I am thinking they must hire the crankiest people they can find for Customs and TSA agents....geez I didn't have any trouble at either but they are definitely cranky as I witnessed with other people.

Also had a voice mail from the manager for a job offer......a plead actually ha ha So if all the contract deals can be worked out with my Company I will be returning to Eureka, CA. I had heard they were having some issues at the hospital but it is only for 13 weeks and I don't get involved in the politics so think it will be ok. If not it will at least boost my "slush" fund for time off.

My dog was very happy to be "rescued" from Doggie Camp, so all is back to normal at my house. Rain showers predicted here but warming up this weekend to 68, 69 heck I will take it. YIPPEE I don't have to winterize my Motorhome.

Hey the TX GTG is off and rolling. Would love to be there but will have to live it thru pictures you ALL take. We had so much fun at our Pacific NW GTG I am longing for another one but the weather out here doesn't really support camping in the dang wind and rain this time of year. Hope you all have perfect weather for the duration.

Good news Red on the biopsy...scary stuff until you know for sure. Hope the soreness has disappeared.

Everyone have a super time

Stayed up late reading and was able to sleep in this morning, so I feel much more rested. Nice potluck last night. I am getting so bored with my own cooking, it was nice to eat food that other people had cooked.

I just heard this morning from a friend who lives in the Bronx and works in Manhattan. She was VERY lucky because she never even lost power, although she said one window did come loose and she had to get help pushing it back in place. She lives on the 5th floor, so of course no flooding. AND, she is back at work today!

Going to be a quiet day working online, but I will be watching out for newcomers arriving.

Got to head up to the dump station this morning also. I did not bother to dump grey water at last campground since there was so little, but it is building up after two days here.

Good morning all! I remembered to say "rabbits" but not first thing. Son caled before i was up and threw my morning rhythm all off. Hope it still counts! Sunny but cool day in beautiful Alabama, ill take it. Main thing on the agenda today is to call my sister it's her birthday. She lives in Calif so Ill wait awhile. Those in Texas are well underway and having a great time. When i was in Crossville and Tunica my neighbor kept up with me thru FB. She said it looked like we spent most time eating! She has us pegged! Everyone have a great day, and I will be thinking of Irmi and Steve and anyoone else effected by the storms! Wendy

Hi everyone, glad everyone is doing good. Having fun at the GTG, good health reports
etc. We got up early and packed up and came over to the beach. No one in the smaller
parking lot at the dog beach so thought it was time to try in...work good...now that
I have a couple more miles under my belt. Just had lunch and will go back to beach for
more shells. I will be posting more about beach on my blog . Have a great day

RABBITS must be the first word spoken---out of your mouth----whether it be to a dog, to yourself, or to whomever. That's what makes it so hard to do, for me, anyway! I usually speak to Molly and tell her to move over so I can climb out of my bunk! No good! Sorry, folks---this is an oldtimey thing, and the rules were very strict!

Well, I remembered to shout "rabbits". As a matter of fact I did it 3 times. I really need some good luck.
