Good morning, Lori and all you latecomers. Bandit doesn't know the difference in days, so it's a 6:30 wake up call every day. Of course, when you're retired it doesn't matter what time it is. Nothing much planned for today. I'm off to church, followed by our monthly covered dish dinner. Turkey is provided today, so I'm bringing sweet potato souffle and corn pudding to go with. Then I'll grocery shop on the way home....still combining trips even though the price of gas is down. A little saving won't hurt....the sooner I can travel again!

Have a great day!

Good Morning all!

It's foggy here, and now the breeze is picking up and blowing it away. Looks like some blue sky. But, later today we are due for that cold front and wind. awwwwww,.... I actually could walk out on my deck with coffee this a.m..... but I guess it's back to winter for us very quickly!

Not sure what I'm going to do today. I may go out to lunch, I may stay home, I may do housework or I may just watch a movie from netflix. I'm really going to hate to go back to work on Jan 5th!

Hope you all have a great day!

Goooood Morning Sistahs!!!!

YAWN!!!! Dang Lori's being an early bird on here this morning. What woke you up so early today Lorie??? It's Sunday and I know that your behind me in time???? LOL Thanks so much for having the coffee ready to guzzle! Will someone PLEASE eat up the rest of the Christmas cookies!!! OMG  It's time to go back to muffins, brownies, biscuts and Biscotte. Hmmmm? I think I will be right back!!!

Yep, here me is. Got some English Muffins here some peanut butter, some strawberry preserves, got blueberry and peach and apple butter to offer too. I had David pick it up on his last run to NY and back. We run I81 up thru there and of course so much of that is Amish country, so it was noting for him to grab some good stuff. YUM nothing better than Amish made preserves. He grabbed some bread and stuff too but of course that's all gone. Wish I had thought to tell him to grab some New Hope Mills buttermilk pancake mix while he was up north!! It is the best mix and I can't find it down here. Oh heavens I had better behave myself or I wont be able to walk away from the table only waddle!

Temp on my back porch says 56 but it's raining. Last I knew before going to bed was that our high today was suppose to be 58??? Usually when ya reach your high time first thing in the morning it's down hill all the way from there. So I guess we shall see what the weather brings. Hey Liz??? Maybe I'll get my wish!!! YeeHaw!

Work was ??? a little rough yesterday. It seems like on Friday, our usual day off when night shift is suppose to work?? They had 80 agents lay out from work!!!! That is a ton of people. So they were ragging on us badly to collect as much as possible. We did end up collecting more yesterday than night shift did on Friday. By time they let us go home the floor supervisor was happy. Every dept had met their goal for the day. Night shift had not met any of theirs the night before. So Janet the floor sup proceed to let everyone know that she appreciated their effort and that she was proud that day shift had come thru and beat nights!!! LOL You can bet she'll be crowing about that for awhile!!!

Ok it's time for me to go check my email and get my comic fix. I also need to take a shower and then start getting around for work, got to be in there by noon and we work till 9pm. Got a new coloring book last night so I should be good to go. Had to pickup another pack of colored pencils for Kelly and a couple of coloring books for her to do at work. LOL Yep I think I started something.

Hope everyone has a great day and remember to stay safe!!!

Love to all

Mornin', let's see...what do I have planned for today. Ho hum, got to go to a restaurant with Beth and friend. He will be bringing large Shrimp straight off the boat and the restaurant will cook them. It's a hard life. Before that Beth and I will probably do our walk along the beach.
She was delighted last night when I said the novelty of Bingo had worn off! We could feel ourselves aging even as we sat there watching the ink dry on our cards.

Morning all, big black clouds out my window, wonder if rain is forecast. I would LOVE to see a lovely rain storm. At home in CA, much rain and deep snow in the mountains. Green grass will be growing in the fields. Uh oh, I sound home sick! Probably the digital frame I got for a Christmas present, all those beautiful pics from home are flashing before my eyes.

Really, all good here, and wishing you all a fun day.....

good morning, I'm not waking up very well, I think I need a few more cups of coffee
in me to get the brain juices flowing. Laundry today for sure, the hamper is full so
I really have no choice. Gonna take Bandit over to my friends house for a 3 week
vacation, he loves my friend Ron so there is usually no problems. I will miss him
for sure but will not miss the stress of Gracie teasing him with her patootie in his
face. Naughty dogs! Will also pack up the christmas tree and decorations and get
back into a more normal routine, ha, feel like I don't know what that is anymore.
Off to read up on some posts and slug down some more coffee.
Have a great day, stay warm and be safe.

Good Morning all - We spent the night rockin and rollin again. Winds constant over 20 with bigger gusts - it can stop any time. The fishermen are tired of it too - can't go out on the water. Today it is supposed to let up some. Sure hope so. The sun was just peaking over the hills as I was reading this. And it was 15 to 8 - seems late to me. Checked the weather back home, Indiana, it was warmer there yesterday then it was here - then snow predicted for last night. And I see from the newspaper that Tucson got snow too. Crazy weather.
Bill finally managed to get up and about for a couple of hours yesterday, went out and ate lunch but then right back down. If he isn't much better today we are looking for a doctor. He wasn't as restless or choughing last nites as he has been. Thank goodness.
I'm in a better mood today - problem is when I just sit around I start brooding. So I got busy with the beads. Now I've started on another necklace but don't have enough of the accent beads to finish it so will have to improvise.
Thinking about going to San Carlos from here - about 125 miles south. Will take a drive down there in the car sometime this week to check out the "back way" road so we don't have to go clear back into Hermosillo which adds another 40 miles to the trip.
Heard a strange remark in the restaurant yesterday - eavsdropping on someones conversation. Two older men, one older woman - probably 80s. One man asks, "Does she help you with the driving?" (she was in bathroom) other other man answered, "No - I've asked her to but she doesn't want to." "Can she drive it?" -"Yah, but she doesn't. But she does drive with her other husband." Makes you wonder.
Hope you all have a great day.

Oh Carol - the other husband just cracked me up.

Sparkle left out line dancing. We are foregoing the beach walk today to go to Walmart and then to line dancing this afternoon.

Got to get off here - we are leaving for Walmart in a minute.

Have a great day all.
