I'm glad you are all saying negative things about Maytag washers!! They closed the plant that had been the main employer in my hometown and moved it to Mexico about 6 or 7 years ago, It was devastating of course to the town. We bought a Maytag stack washer when we moved here in '98 and I love it, would not go back to separate units again but of course won't buy another Maytag!
We ended up with 5" of rain last night 2" in less than an hour so it was quite the storm with lots of thunder and lightening. I dashed out this morning and jumped in my van to go to church and suddenly realized my bottom was wet, no wonder ACK both front windows were down about three inches. So, had to dash back inside and change pants and get something to sit on. I had an open umbrella drying out that kept the passenger seat dry but the floors and drivers seat is a soggy mess. I have the windows and sliding roof open now, hoping it will dry out and not mold but it is fairly humid.
There is an AKC dog show in one of the nearby towns this weekend but I didn't go, my head tells me we cannot handle or afford four dogs but....my heart says YES I WANT a new puppy so I figure I don't need the temptation.
