Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Judy-glad you are doing OK (except for the flies) and that you got a good nights sleep.

Red-have a wonderful time with your grandkids. Blood does make any difference to your heart. My kids and grandkids will always be that to me too. Chuck already had the girls when we married and they say they don't remember a time that I was not their Mom or Momma because they were so young and lived with us until they were in middle school. Their natural mother, they call Mother. Since they've been grown, they call me Dawn, but I am still their Mom. It makes it easier with their Mother.

When I saw the title this morning, I had to stop and think about what day it is too. Took Rascal for his shots this morning. The vet bill was about a hundred more than I was expecting. Rascal is starting to develope a dermatitis that Schnauzers typically get so now have a medicated shampoo to use on him weekly. Have to take it to the groomer to use there too. He also is developing gingivitis, so will have to start brushing his teeth every day. This is going to be fun. Figure if doing him, will just do all three. Since can't get Intercepter any more, he is going to be on a new pill that will be heartworm preventative and will take the place of his Frontline plus. It's more expensive than the Intercepter, but won't have to buy the Frontline, so cost should work out to be about the same.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day and if you are traveling, stay safe.

Ava, you haven't mentioned your healing process. Has everything returned to normal?

healing is coming along nicely, not 100% yet but close. My eye is being a little lazy blinking with the other
one like it should but I can close it and squeeze it tight. Need to do that alot for the muscle exercise. When
I went for my eye appointment he didn't want to do the new prescription yet as he thought my muscles meeded
to heal a little more. He thought it was better to wait another month for the new prescription. Appt is scheduled
for second week of July and also scheduled to resume work on July 9th.
Also heard from the disability insurance folks today, they want a letter from the eye doctor still and they got
what they needed from the neurologist. They are trying to get my case set for approval for my money for June.
Still hope it all works out cause I have nothing to pay the bills for July. That means I'd go into August owing for
July.

I have enough trouble knowing what day it is without Sue confusing me. lol I'm glad my DH can remember appointments because I have a hard time and they are written on the calendar.

Soos, I know it's hard not to tell your adult kids something. I had two wonderful mother-in-laws and if they didn't think I was wonderful they didn't tell me. lol My DH quit smoking 30 years ago because our son got into an ash tray and ate some butts and we thought we were going to have to have his stomach pumped. He would probably be dead by now if he hadn't stopped smoking. Hope it doesn't take something like that for your son-in-law to wake up.

Red, you all will love the Bluebell factory tour. A bunch of us took the tour last year and it's very interesting. You will really be a popular grandmother letting teenagers rent jet skis. I know every time my boys were where they rented jet skis that's all I heard.

Dawn, every time I bring a pet to the vet it's $100 more than I think it should be. The vet had recommended a high price food last year for the dogs teeth and that didn't work. Now he is recommending an even more expensive food. I bought a bag of dental chews but don't know if they will help. Hank is 7 so don't think he would go for me brushing his teeth. I need to make an appointment at the spay and neuter clinic for 2 male cats that showed up after I had gotten everything else fixed. I just hate having to get up early to bring them. I have to be there for 7:00 am and it's an hour from here. Then the next day you have to be there early to pick them up. They only charge about $45. To have it done at the vet would be over $200 each.

Ava, insurance companies don't have any problem taking your money but when you have a claim they drag their feet as long as they can. They hope you will just forget about it.

My friend just called. She is bored at work and wants to go to town. Oh boy, some where to go.
